Seven of us ventured out into the snow last night to celebrate two of the group's birthdays. It was a challenge but well worth it. Th Early Bird menu offered plenty of choice for both starters and mains. "Nibbles" were available at extra cost but we were happy we had declined as with the bread which was brought to the table we were well sated at the end of the meal. We had a varied choice of starters and main courses all of which were very interesting, well cooked well presented and really enjoyable. The Bistrot is attractively furnished with pleasant lighting creating a pleasant atmosphere , also extremely good staff. There is a good choice of beers, some of which have appropriate "Yorkshire" names.Whilst the cost was a little higher than most "early bird" menus it was well worth it and we shall certainly be returning.
