We had three enjoyable nights at this cottage. On arrival we were greeted with wine, chocolates, milk and doggy beer (see attached picture of Bailey with beer). Bailey enjoyed the beer, his 1st ever.
The cottage was well equipped for the four of us and our dog Bailey. We all had a good rest and beds are so comfortable. The cottage provides lots of local information, places to eat, bus timetable for bus stop that is a very short walk from cottage. The whole surrounding area is completely dog friendly and we had Sunday roast at the local pub Hinchcliff Arms with Bailey.
I highly recommend this cottage and you will enjoy the surrounding views. This was our first trip to Yorkshire and we will be back hopefully soon.
Thank you Helen
We stayed in Victoria wood view cottage.
With our 2 dogs Marley and Diesel we had such a fantastic time and Helen the owner was so accommodating and tended to everything whim and even left us a welcoming gift, including for the dogs!!!
110%. Excellent place and the people are so friendly.
Highly recommend it!
Can’t wait to go back!
Thanks again Helen.

The cottage is one of 3 in a detached building. alongside a road there is some traffic noise - although you couldn't describe it as a busy road you need to bear this in mind if you are looking for an off the beaten track property. That said the road didn't intrude on our stay at all. We rented 2 of the three cottages for a family holiday with 2 dogs and 2 children under 5 and arrived to a really clean cottage, The cottages are very well equipped - pretty much everything you'll need. Our only problem was getting the DVD player to play a DVD loud enough for us to hear - but this could have been us not pressing the right buttons. The local pub (Robin Hood) does great family food very reasonably priced. Dog walking for our dogs (pugs) is fairly limited as the immediate countryside is steep and pretty rugged. - I'm sure that larger dogs would love it! We enjoyed our week at Victoria Wood View.
