We stayed in Victoria wood view cottage.
With our 2 dogs Marley and Diesel we had such a fantastic time and Helen the owner was so accommodating and tended to everything whim and even left us a welcoming gift, including for the dogs!!!
110%. Excellent place and the people are so friendly.
Highly recommend it!
Can’t wait to go back!
Thanks again Helen.

The cottage is one of 3 in a detached building. alongside a road there is some traffic noise - although you couldn't describe it as a busy road you need to bear this in mind if you are looking for an off the beaten track property. That said the road didn't intrude on our stay at all. We rented 2 of the three cottages for a family holiday with 2 dogs and 2 children under 5 and arrived to a really clean cottage, The cottages are very well equipped - pretty much everything you'll need. Our only problem was getting the DVD player to play a DVD loud enough for us to hear - but this could have been us not pressing the right buttons. The local pub (Robin Hood) does great family food very reasonably priced. Dog walking for our dogs (pugs) is fairly limited as the immediate countryside is steep and pretty rugged. - I'm sure that larger dogs would love it! We enjoyed our week at Victoria Wood View.
I actually stayed in the Hove Wood View cottage for 5 days in March 2017. The 3 cottages are located in a beautiful setting and the cottage provided wonderful views of the landscape.
I was very impressed with how clean the cottage was on arrival and how Nicky had provided all the little touches to make our stay easier. It was a wonderful suprise to be greeted with wine, cake and fresh flowers also.
The cottages are dog friendly and they even left a dog towel and a dog treat for our dog.
The Hinchcliffe (pub and restaurant) just a few minutes walk down the road was superb, very good value for money and the food was amazing!! We also decided to walk into Hebden Bridge which took much longer then expected, it took us over an hour each way to walk there so I would recommend driving or getting a bus there. Bolton Abbey (around an hours drive away) is a must see place to visit, with beautiful walks and scenary.
Overall, it was a fantastic break away thanks to how accomadating Nicky was and the beautiful cottages. I would recommend them to everyone!
We have just returned from a lovely break staying at Cragg Cottages in Hebden Bridge. Beautiful cottage with everything you could need. Welcome gifts of wine
and chocolates were most appreciated! Beautiful walks direct from the cottage. Hosts friendly and helpful.
