Been to the Saw previously but after seeing recent tripadvisor reviews decided to try again now it's under new management. The food is just fantastic and the staff very attentive. If you are nearby give it a try, definitely worth it..

“Very impressed! The Staff and food were equally outstanding.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013

Went here for Saturaday lunch and what a pleasent surprise we had. Our party of four were welcomed with friendly faces and excellent service from the outset.

We had a choice of 3 menus, which was lovely as its always nice to have plenty of choice. I opted for the sandwich menu, and went for The Saw's take on the chicken club. I wasn't disappointed, the chef even accommodated my need for coleslaw, which came in the form of deliciously fresh and homemade coleslaw.

The prices were very competitive, hope they stay that way! My partner and I have been looking for a pub that serves excellent pub food, in this area, for a long time. We have recommended the place to all our like minded friends and will be hopefully returning very soon.

“10/10”

I have recently visited the The Saw and just wanted people to know how fantastic the staff & the food are, good ingredients, fresh produced prepared and presented very well. The staff are more than accommodating. In a lot of restaurants the staff tend to forget you for drinks after they have served the meal & I always think that is a shame. But not at the Saw, I would definitely like to see this place succeed.
The only slight negative was the table layout, seemed a little crammed at one side, and the left bar area spaced out.

“Great food/great value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

I've been to The Saw twice in the last month or so, first with a friend one Saturday evening, and the second was for Sunday lunch with my husband. Thoroughly enjoyed both times and would most definitely recommend it. Great choice on the menu, the staff are very nice and helpful, it's something that little bit different.

“Best Sunday lunch ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013

Hi, I felt compelled to write a review on this pub as it was soooo good. Homemade food to a very high standard with homemade Yorkshire Puds. The beef was delicious almost like a sirloin steak with all the Sunday dinner trimmings. I think it's just recently been taken over so I will defiantly recommend giving it a try. I will definitely returning YUM YUM :)
