The staff is great. The food is good and it's right on the sand. $15 for 6 small lobster tails! The happy hour is a great value too.

“Not consistent”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

Our first visit was so good that we decided to return. Most of the members of my party ordered the exact same thing as before. From the margaritas to the main courses, the food was awful. We went at a pretty busy time of day, and I think the staff was overwhelmed. Not a valid excuse in my book. Restaurants must be consistent to have repeat customers. We will not be back.

“We had fun dancing!”
Reviewed May 18, 2013

This restaurant/bar seemed to be the most popular and the loudest in the area!
We did not have dinner at this restaurant. As a matter of fact we were just passing by after our dinner. There was a live band playing in the restaurant and the music was so attractive that we simply went on to the dance floor and started dancing. Actually nobody else was dancing there, but the place was packed with tourists.
Of course, then the waiters came with their menus and asked us to sit at a table, which we could not refuse after using their dance floor. So we settled down and ordered drinks, again. This was after 2 hours of happy hour drinking and you can imagine how happy we all were. And of course we were really enjoying ourselves. Then all of a sudden the live band stopped and a cultural presentation of Nicaraguan dance with kids broke out! It was very interesting! There was an American woman translating everything the bar owner (or maybe the big cheese there at the time) was saying about each dance group.
We, five of us, were there a couple of hours and each had more drinks and altogether paid around $50. Considering we had so much fun & exercise from dancing our heads away, I think it was really worth it. We somehow did not eat there on the second day because it was simply too crowded and we wanted to have some peace.
So, I would say, after the happy hour this is the place to go. Wear your dancing shoes!

“Great food”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

The food was great and the night we were there they had native music and dancers perform. Prices are reasonable and the restaurant is right on the beach so it is a great view.
