“Beautiful beach day”

Reviewed December 26, 2013

A beautiful day spent lounging and playing at the beach. Watch for late day jellyfish, as being stung hurts! Bring vinegar to dilute the poison.

Pretty big beach but filled with restaurants and stray dogs...not a beach to spend time on other than to eat and drink and maybe walk down...to get to the next restaurant and bar.

San Juan del Sur has many nice restaurants, reasonable and very cheap places to stay, a cool tiny cigar store and lots to do. The beach is sort of...eh. There are beaches both north and south which are much nicer without the touristy feel of SJDS. We had a great time time in SJDS.
