One of my favourite spots when visiting San Juan del Sur. They had a new wood burning oven shipped in from Italy last year. The pizza is very good, the closest you can get to a real Italian pizza, given the ingredients available in Nicaragua. The service definitely needs to improve, but who needs to eat in 20 minutes when vacationing in a beautiful ocean front town? When service is slow I just order another coke and watch the scenery. Make sure you try their Tiramisu', when available. They only make it fresh so it's not always on the menu. Also, if owner Maurizio is around then ask for one of his delicious seafood pastas, if not you can ask co-owner Alessandro to spin one of his pizzas or Panuozzi, an invention of his, half way between a pizza and a sandwich. Overall I rate it excellent because no where else can you eat original Italian style pizza or pasta!
