If you have never been to a diner runs by Greeks, then you don't know about their menus. From breakfast to dinner there are hundreds of items on the menu. It can be a little overwhelming if you haven't seen a menu so large, but it's usually not in vain because nearly every item is good or exceptional.

In the case of the Soda Jerk Diner, I can say it's in line with other Greek diners I've stopped at in the past. We couldn't finish our portions but we tried our best. Service was fast and attentive and the food was cooked to order. We ordered lunch items so I can't comment on the breakfast, although it looked great from what I could tell by the huge plates sitting in front of some patrons.

I would definitely go back when in the Hershey area again, and plan to try breakfast next time.

And if you are familiar with the Double T diners around the Baltimore area, or the Boulevard Diner in Dundalk, MD (which was featured on Guy's Triple D on Food Network) then you will like the Soda Jerk.

Loved the large menu. If you can't find something here to eat, you should stay home. Desserts are very big and very good! They are like a friendly's on steroids! Nice 50's theme diner. Will be back soon!

We stopped here after visiting Indian Echo Caverns, what a treat. Very extensive menu from Breakfast to dinner, and many dessert. Diner favorites like banana splits. Unfortunately the lunch was quite filling and we had no room. Next time we have visitors, my plan is lunch then the caverns then back for dessert.

We had a great experience at this diner. No wait times, our food came out promptly and the order was correct, plus it tasted good. The best part was our waitress, she was very kind and gave us some advice on what there was to do in the area.

We stopped here for dinner before heading to Hersheypark. This place has a huge menu. Breakfast all day was a Hit. The vanilla malted shake was delicious. The waitstaff was nice and e place was clean and bright. We were able to park our RV out front in a long space in front of the mini mall where it is located.
