We stayed two nights here. It was alright. The room was clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff was so sweet and friendly. The front desk staff was standoffish and I hardly ever saw them actually there at the desk. They were usually in the back doing who knows what. The pool and hot tub was nice, but the jacuzzi water was nasty. It was closed when we were leaving, so I hope it was getting cleaned.

We have stayed at this hotel before and have always enjoyed it here. The hotel is under new ownership and the seller's did not disclose repairs, nor allow a walk through for the new owners. Bear with them while they get repairs/updates/TLC complete.
We were in a room with 2 queen beds on the 1st floor, facing the rear parking area.
Rooms are nicely sized with a writing desk, adequate size bathroom, microwave, refrigerator, 32" flat screen and Free WiFi.
Beds were very comfortable with all white linens and down pillows, both soft and firm, covered with embroidered pillow cases to identify soft and firm.Medium weight hotel towels, plenty of linens and nice toiletries, replenished each time housekeepers came in. Closet with iron and ironing board. Laundry machines in the basement, very nice for families and people on long road trips.
The staff is very accommodating and helpful.
We look forward to our next visit at this location.
I spent one night in this hotel during a business trip in the area.
Hotel is renewed and comfortable.
Many possibilities for dinner at walking distance.
Price was reasonable and I had a good night.

I am a guest at the Holiday Inn 610 Walton Avenue , Hummelstown, PA 17036. I have stayed at this property for a number of years for the PARV Show representing Virginia Tourism.
I am a Spire Elite member and also in the hospitality industry representing Virginia Tourism, and tonight I had the privilege to witness one of the most extraordinary examples of an employee going way beyond the requirements of his job to take care of a situation that could have gone way wrong.
Tim, the night clerk on duty took charge of removing and protecting the guest of this establishment from an injured skunk right in front of the entrance of the hotel. I was also told that there was another skunk and its’ mother hiding in the shrubs just outside the parking lot. Tim swiftly and without hesitation got a box, dust pan and a plastic garbage bag to remove the injured skunk. He could have easily been sprayed in this dangerous situation with residual effects that would have been very unpleasant for returning guest.
His quick action should not go without recognition. I will go out of my way to continue to stay at this establishment knowing the staff is so concerned for the safety and wellbeing of this hotel’s customers.

This is your typical inn to stay a night or two. We needed a place to sleep while visiting hershey park. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and they had breakfast in the mornings. Rate was reasonable. The hotel is small but nice. It doesnt look old or run down. I would stay again.

At check in we had to wait several minutes because there was a line. I don't have a complaint about this as we were there for a concert at Hershey Park as were several other guests. However, the room was substandard for the price ($278/night). The bedding had stains and the floors appeared dirty. There were three of us staying in the room. I had to go and request additional towels as there was only ONE bath towel. I waited at the front desk for 15 minutes but I could see into the back office and staff stood there and could see me - but didn't even acknowledge my presence or apologize for the wait. I would not recommend this hotel.
