Watched an AHL game at this stadium. Large clean facility with ample seating. Bought tickets the day of the game. Expect to pay $8 to park.

“just ok”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

This venue probably should just be used for sporting events. Its a horrible place to have a concert. No floor seating (standing only). Bleacher seating is just that......bleachers. they want to call it "grandstand" seating. The stage is just awkward, as if there isn't a good seat in the venue. Uncomfortable at first but if its a good show you will make the best of it. Hershey needs to put some of that chocolate money into a better venue.

“Good concert, bad venue”
Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

Went here for a good concert. I enjoyed the music and the atmosphere of the people there. The seating was extremely unorganized... elbow to elbow. I practically sat on the lap of the stranger next to me. We paid more to be sat on floor level but probably would have been more comfortable in the stands. Security was yelling at people not smoking in the designated spots, but not the people smoking in the crowd In their seats. Oh and it also had the typical over priced food and drinks as well. Never again!

“My first "stadium" concert; an old facility”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

No frills to this place, just the bare minimum. I went there to see Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z at the Legends of Summer tour and the show was great. The bathrooms and concessions areas could use some work. I had read on TripAdvisor about bad parking experiences at this venue my girlfriend and I decided we would get there early (almost 2 hours before the show), park further away and walk to avoid a possible traffic jam in the parking lots. I did feel we may have gotten there too early, but we did not hit any significant traffic on the way in and I read that some people have gotten stuck in traffic just on the way to shows at this stadium before. Overall we did enjoy the show and we were lucky to have good weather for an open-air event. Sound was pretty good for the size of the stadium however I feel this changes between bands because sound usually is rigged by the touring group. I would go to this venue again if it were for another very big show. We sat in Section 5, Row G and we felt we had good seats, though I wouldn't have minded being a little lower in "bleachers" section.

“Beyond Disorganized and Frustrating”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

We have been to dozens of concert venues over the years, but this was hands down the worst of the worst. We showed up 1 1/2 hours early for the JT/Jay Z concert. Big blinking signs on the main road direct concert goers to turn into the park's main entrance. No heads up that you would have to pay the full $12 for concert parking. So we pay the fee at the entrance to the park and make our way driving the road that snakes past all of the lots. Every parking lot was coned off and event staff just keeps waving you on. No one was directing us as to what lots were available for concert parking, so before we knew it, with nothing more than hand waving of the staff we were at the exit of the park again ??. Where the heck are you supposed to park and why did we just drive around the whole park to find out that we need to go across the street to the lawn parking (where we would have still had to pay)? So, by the time we park, we have to hike across a huge lawn lot, wait for the one traffic cop to direct hundreds of us across the main road, and then try to funnel through a 4 foot wide walking path that they had formed for the 10s of thousands of attendees to walk through??.

Once at the stadium, we realize there have been no updates to the stadium itself since it was first built. There are very few bathrooms, and hundreds of porta-potties are lining the lots and outside of the stadium. Porta-potties? Really? Field seats are impossible to find, and no staff is there to give you any kind of directions. After the amazing concert was over, they had left only the 2 main entrances open to vacate the grounds (and the exits are standard 3 feet wide gate openings). So, it was literally like taking 50K plus sheep and herding them into pens. It took 30 minutes just to get out of the door. Then another 30 minutes to walk down that extreme narrow pathway to get to the main road to cross. Talk about an extremely dangerous situation. It would have just taken one moron to yell "fire" or "gun" and people would have seriously been injured in a stampede. Seriously scary.

We spent 35 minutes literally sitting in our car, not having moved an inch, before we had enough and found a back way out of the jammed parking lot (thanks so much traffic cops ??). From there it took an additional 45 minutes to go all of 5 miles (and that was using back roads). Just a forewarning, if you are parking in the lawn lots, they send you out away from the main roads, so if you don't have a GPS in the dark, you very well will get lost because no one gives you any direction once you get outside the gate of the lot. So good luck with that.

All in all, this was ridiculous. No organization. Archaic facilities. Non-helpful event staff. Dangerous situation.

Never again...but that's just my 2 cents.
