First time in the stadium and it was for a very special event, the AHL Winter Classic between the Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins and the Hershey Bears. The place was packed, over 17,000 people which set a record for a Hershey home game. Having been to an NHL outdoor game the atmosphere and rink rivaled what the NHL does and this was all arranged by the Bears front office.
Comparing it to a standard Bears home game there is nothing negative to write about considering the the size of the crowd which just shows how much everyone at the Hershey Bears worked to pull it off in such grand style.
