As locals Fenicci's is not a place that comes to mind for some reason. Decided to have dinner here before a movie in Hershey. Parking is challenging (street parking, if you're lucky enough to find a spot, or in the parking garage across the street approx. 1 block away). Nice decor -- white tablecloths with black chairs (tablecloths are covered with white paper -- which is noisy and detracts from the whole thing). Heard people talking about the art on the walls, apparently a different artist is featured periodically. Everyone raves about the lasagna so we tried it. It was a nice size piece, dense, and chock full and comes with a small salad and rolls. They didn't seem to skimp on the fillings. The best part was the thin layer of sausage and meatballs inside -- the worst part was that it was submerged in a ton of tomatoey sauce, which isn't necessary. While nothing was wrong with it, it was pretty bland and tasteless and was overall disappointing to us as Italians. Not sure what the big deal is about getting a certificate if you eat it all... it was not a problem and no certificate was given to us or even mentioned. We will most likely return to try something else, but we don't feel that this is a place that will come to mind when thinking of a place to dine. Have to say that our waitress was fantastic and the service was great.
