As locals Fenicci's is not a place that comes to mind for some reason. Decided to have dinner here before a movie in Hershey. Parking is challenging (street parking, if you're lucky enough to find a spot, or in the parking garage across the street approx. 1 block away). Nice decor -- white tablecloths with black chairs (tablecloths are covered with white paper -- which is noisy and detracts from the whole thing). Heard people talking about the art on the walls, apparently a different artist is featured periodically. Everyone raves about the lasagna so we tried it. It was a nice size piece, dense, and chock full and comes with a small salad and rolls. They didn't seem to skimp on the fillings. The best part was the thin layer of sausage and meatballs inside -- the worst part was that it was submerged in a ton of tomatoey sauce, which isn't necessary. While nothing was wrong with it, it was pretty bland and tasteless and was overall disappointing to us as Italians. Not sure what the big deal is about getting a certificate if you eat it all... it was not a problem and no certificate was given to us or even mentioned. We will most likely return to try something else, but we don't feel that this is a place that will come to mind when thinking of a place to dine. Have to say that our waitress was fantastic and the service was great.

Restaurant is located downtown Hershey. The food was good. The service was good. The upside down pizza was really good. The chicken marsala was descent but was over cooked. Very large portions. We had trouble finding a parking spot. Being new to the area, there may have been more parking close to the entrance and we didn't see it in the dark.

Parking is something i cannot control, kind of like being in NYC you find a garage or park a couple of blocks away and walk, do not worry, Hershey is very safe.. But we do have some options, you have a huge free parking garage right across the street from me at the Hershey Story, that you can use ,or you can take a turn on Linden, go one block and take a left on Caracas and use the Church Lot also free.

Why, oh, why does this place have a high rating? The restaurant is a solid 3 at the most. The place was packed on a Friday night, but that does not mean much when you are in a tourist area. They have the benefit of one time diners filling up the joint. The pasta is not fresh (i.e. boxed, but they do not claim to make fresh pasta.) The service was unbearably slow for our group of 9 (4 adults, 5 pre-teens.) We ordered 2 servings of calamari. The serving size was meager. It looked as if they took one calamari plate and divided it into two. The food was average.

Needless to say, when I am next in Hershey I will try another restaurant.

Pasta if fresh of course, it just is not homemade. We concentrate on Homemade sauces, and in blending flavors and ingredients together to create the meal. If your are looking for made to order pasta this would not be the place, we have 95% of our menu under $20 and homemade pastas would change that formula, however, we do offer about 200 home prepared items, that most people rave about. In regards to the calamari I actually agree with you and have increased the portion size so that one order will satisfy 2 people.

Some friends and I heard this place served nicely prepared Italian food so we thought we would try it one evening. It was very busy due to the Hershey Car Show going on, but the staff did a great job handling everyone. Waiter was very pleasant and knowledgeable in answering our questions. Food came in good time and was excellent! Nice sizable portions of tasty Italian dishes. We will definitely go back on our next visit.

Thank you so much, we love seeing all of our friends from the car show every year. Its funny a previous review noted that we were busy because we have the luxury of being in a tourist town and having a lot of one time visitors walk in. Actually the reverse is true, because we have so many repeat visits from people over the years it is actually hard to get in on a weekend if you just stumble on us! Things are not always as they appear!! See you next year

Our favorite server Kelly was quick to please and to handle our special requests for the chef. With staff like Kelly, Fenicci's will be around to celebrate their 100th anniversary in 2035!
