The chocolate pastries such as the Chocolate Croissants are very scrumptious and delicious. I also recommend the hot chocolate.

After spending the day in Hershey, we always stop at The Hershey Hotel and The Hershey Lodge for lunch/dinner or snacks. This trip we stopped for a late bite at the Lodge in the Cocoa Beanery. The menu is very, very limited, so beware! My daughter had a delicious salad, I had the BLT. Nothing extraordinary, but still very fresh and tasteful. The star of the show was the Frozen Hot Chocolate. It is soooo delicious and worth the $4.50

On the upside, they have free wifi, a comfortable atmosphere, and it's seldom crowded. You'll be rubbing shoulders with medical folks and chatty, well-to-do locals, mostly women, just about any hour of the day.

Why is there predominantly upscale clientele here? Perhaps because it's near the med center ... but more likely because it's near the top end of the price scale for quick-service food. Cocoa Beanery has priced-out much of the middle class for everything except drinks. Six bucks for a smallish, a la carte breakfast sandwich and nine or ten for a lunch panini -- a stretch for a restaurant off the beaten path. The owner is friendly, as is most (not all) of the staff, and the food is tasty. If they's lower their prices or deliver more value it could really take off.

This is a very convenient place for soft drinks and coffee drinks but it is very expensive. There is a decent breakfast selection (bagels and other pastries) but again its pricey.

Loved the Chocolate Inspired Coffee Drinks found here. Tried several but feel in love with the Almond Joy Mocha. Never had anything so heavenly in a coffee drink before and we are huge coffee drinkers. There is also muffins, cookies, chocolate milk, yogurts, etc. so sure to find something for the kids too.
