Owner description: Tröegs Brewing Company was founded by Chris and John Trogner. Since 1997, the brothers have been handcrafting world-class beers that combine traditional English brewing techniques with the eclecticism of new American brewing. While only available in the Mid-Atlantic region, Tröegs Brewery is known nationwide for their award-winning Troegenator Double Bock, highly-desirable seasonal releases like Nugget Nectar and The Mad Elf, and brewery-only beers like the Scratch and Splinter series. Tröegs Brewery in Hershey, Pennsylvania provides guests with a complete brewing experience. The brewhouse is located in a 5,000 square foot tasting room that opens onto a beer garden. Visitors are able to observe the brewing process firsthand, and take a self-guided tour along a window-lined hallway for a close-up view of the entire brewery.

This is the place to go for great craft beer. Atmosphere is great. Usually crowded on weekends. Usually stop when we are in the area for some great beer. Need more parking area.

My wife and I stopped there this past weekend and foudn the place quite busy. We were able to get a sampler flight of beers and great food. Large portions of tasty food. Great atmosphere for any type of group to enjoy. Gift shop has lots of items for sale. Next time we will do the brewery tour.

During my stay in Harrisburg, we decided to make the short trek to Hershey. Troegenator has always been one of my favorites, so I decided to visit the place of its origin. I was not disappointed. The self-guided tour provides enough info to keep the expert interested and the novice intrigued. The food at the "snack bar" was unique and delicious. The staff was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect for an evening to just chill with good beer, good food, and good locals. HIGHLY recommend a visit!

If you're going for a brew you should love it here. And if you're a carnivore you will probably like the food. But, for vegans or vegetarian they changed the menu and it's not vegetarian friendly anymore. No longer is there a bean taco. They say you can request a menu item to be vegan but come on, do you really want to have to ask? Sorry. I now eat before coming here. I rated 5 before but now due to the lack of vegan or vegetarian fare it's now a 3.
