The room was okay as far as having a comfortable bed, but my husband had to scoot to the bottom of the bed to get out of it because it was set too close to the wall. There was no bathtub, but the shower was spacious. Unfortunately, the toilet was set a bit close to the wall so that when I stood up from it, I almost poked my eye out on the light switches. Also, there was a fridge, but it didn't have a freezer, which made keeping all of the chocolate we bought at Hershey World a bit of a challenge when we left on the next leg of our trip (6.5 hr. drive). The restaurant right there, What If, was good but on the expensive side. Breakfast was what continental breakfast used to be: the only hot items being coffee or toast. It was a good location and close to Hersheypark, and the price was reasonable so just staying for a couple of nights of sleep was worth staying at this hotel.

Room was decent, bed was nice and the bathroom was clean. The carpet could have been vacuumed better. There was also a cigaret burn mark on the dresser, not major - but noticeable.

The free breakfast was basic, but it fit the bill. I filled me up so I didn't need buy it somewhere else. I did not go to the resteraunt that was downstairs or the pool.

I used the wifi but some spots in my room I would loose connection. TV worked with the basic channels.

Overall - I was just there to get up early for Hershey park, was single...and it fit the budget. However there was an overall "cheap/dirty" feel. Needs a full redo.

Good value Hotel. The price was very decent and the rooms clean. I found it a little noisy because the rooms are connected and the probably the walls thin.
If you hate noise ask for one of the rooms facing the back. We wanted something in front of the hotel because we have to carry a stroller and stuff all the time.
The breakfast is continental and very basic however next to the hotel there is a good place for breakfast named 'the hershey pantry" that serves good meals.
Also at night if you are caught with dinner without finding a place to go. The "what if" restaurant serves steak cuts that are delicious and the room service is excellent. They dont charge you extra to send you dinner at your room.

Stayed over one night, room has the basics but couldn't get over the musty/smoky smell in the room. They need to put new carpet in if that is what is causing the odor. It was hard to get a good nights sleep, noisy traffic off the road and choking room smell. Restaurant in basement was very nice. Although the scallops were raw and the tuna was well done, the waiter went out of his way to right it. Everything else was great. Definitely wouldn't stay here again, the smell was just too much.

Room Tip: Maybe the rooms away from the road are both quieter and don't smell. We never had time to find...

I'm so glad to have relied on tripadvisor reviews to make this booking. This will be a regular stop when we are traveling from New England to the south and need an overnight stay! A great bargain, with all the comforts, well situated, everything just right.

Nice dark color scheme, comfortable blanket (not one of those cheap plastic/polyester kinds), extremely comfortable mattress (I peeked the morning after to take note of the model number -- it's a Simmons Beautyrest variety). Big flat screen TV. A real coffee maker so if you are a coffee snob and bring your own, you can have it in-room. Convenient fridge.

OH! And SIX (6) full size bath towels!!! How wonderful is that -- not the usual inscrutable three (for two people?!?!) You can thus shower the evening before, and again in the morning or whatever, and have fresh towels each time.

Just across the street is a GREAT pastry/dessert place that sells excellent (Peets) coffee and both decadent and healthy baked things.

Also, if you enjoy exercise, the road the hotel sits on makes for a perfect running route.
