“Awesome for adults....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

This museum has many collections of things during the life of Milton Hershey and his legacy. There are plenty of interactive stations, amazing pictures and stories, a movie about his life and so much more. It should take a solid 2 hours to go through the whole thing. I don't know that this is so much a place for young kids under the age of 10, they would not be that entertained. It really is geared toward adults. There is a great store also and a little café. The museum itself is beautiful, clean, expansive and you will leave with a much better understanding of his life and legacy.

“Dont waste your time! Or Money!”

I used to go to the Hershey Park every year with my family and one of my favorites was the 'factory tour' - had old school 'its a small world' carts that traveled down a conveyer belt and explained the history and how chocolate was made and all that.
Good times!

I go back, now with my wife, and find that its turned into this.

Ill be serious here: Its just a bucha 'ish on the walls. Not to mention that its pretty lame and seems more like propaganda that Milton Hershey was some kinda saint, but it told you nothing about the process of chocolate making.
Add to this that its $10 a person for a SELF guided walk around the upstairs.. Had I known it wasnt the tour of 'old' I couldn't see myself ever recommending this to anyone.

“Chocolate tasting shouldn't be missed.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

We really enjoyed this attraction and while the interactive displays are primarily aimed at children, that didn't stop two old geezers from playing with each one and emailing the results home. The museum has a variety of ephermal, photos and artifacts relating to the life of Milton Hershey and the development of his Chocolate empire. It can be pricey, especially if you add in the chocolate Lab (which of course will be a must for children), but we were fortunate to have coupons and had a great deal which included the chocolate tasting.

“Loved it!”

The Hershey Story was very entertaining! I went with my grandma and her friend and we really enjoyed it and learned a lot! The Cafe was also delicious with pretty decent prices. I wouldn't suggest it for young kids though. There are some interactive things but not really anything geared towards small children.
