The hotel was large enough to lose your way. The room was pretty standard but big enough for three of us; one being a small child. Overall, it was clean and the staff was friendly. There was a shuttle that ran from the hotel to the park... Being used to Disney, I felt the bus ride was long... But the bus driver would present many facts and made the ride MORE enjoyable. Hershey Park was definitely easier to navigate and enjoy with a four year old. Upon returning, the smell of the lobby reminded us that dinner needed to still be ordered!! Where did the time go!?! We had a great stay!

The staff is friendly and helpful from the front desk and beyond. The packages are a GREAT deal. Ours was the Back to Fun the weekend school starts. Crowds were low, shuttle saves $25 parking at the park, the tours and park admission were included, as was breakfast. Wow!
If have to say the biggest perk is getting into the park an hour before general admission. Our kids wanted the popular bigger rides and they rode them many times before the long lines formed.
The restaurants were decent in the lodge, but the best variety was in Forebay. Make a reservation to be sure you can eat when you want. Tennis courts, mini golf, an arcade and pools make this a great family place. Be aware that though it was warm, the outdoor pool was closed after Labor Day. The indoor pool was hot and loud, but kids enjoyed it.
There is mini fridge and free (weak) wifi in the room. The milk and cookies delivered to the room in the evening were amazing!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Hershey Park and stay at Hershey Lodge. As soon as you walk into the Lodge you smell chocolate...its so lovely! The staff is friendly and extremely helpful! The lobby has a cozy fireplace and a yummy coffee shop. Our room was beautiful! Very clean, spacious, and they give you a 'free' Hershey's bar.
We went to the Chocolate Factory and took the tour on how the chocolate is made and we even got to make our own candy bars (the idea was cool but the experience pretty much consisted of standing in a line for over an hour...we wouldn't do it again). We also visited the Hershey Zoo (I believe its called ZooAmerica) which is small but had some neat animals and the Hershey Garden (nothing was in bloom, we traveled in early April). We also went to the theme park and rode on some coasters (nice theme park, fun for all ages, and clean).
My favorite part of the trip was dinner at the Hershey's Grill. I ordered the chocolate creme brulee martini, it was delicious and very strong. But the best part of dinner was the chocolate butter, YES chocolate butter!...the sweet hint of coco was perfect and just made our last night and overall experience at Hershey's Park memorable and well worth it.

Have stayed here for business meetings many times. I am never disappointed. The Hershey Lodge is always clean and comfortable. There is a main "tower" that has 5 floors and then several "wings" that are 2-story motel/hotel type accommodations. This time I stayed in the Hershey Milk Chocolate Bar wing. It has both inside and outside entrances to the rooms. The rooms are not huge, but are satisfactory for a place to sleep during a business meeting. The place is large and spread out, but you get used to the lay out very quickly and it is really not all that far to walk to the convention center rooms. The facility has always been spotless when I have stayed there. The Lodge has several restaurants on premises. They are all good, but not at all upscale or fancy. Food quality and service can be hit or miss. The meeting facilities are spacious and can easily be divided into smaller spaces. There is ample room in the hallway areas for breakfast, drinks and snacks to be served during the meetings. They really go all out to make your meetings enjoyable and comfortable. There is a gift shop located in the hallway when coming from the Lodge lobby into the convention area. There is a large fireplace in the lobby that is very relaxing to enjoy when you have free time. If you stay in-season, the park and outlets are very close by. I have never been disappointed with my stays at the Hershey Lodge although they have all been for business purposes and I have never stayed there with children.

We stayed at the Hershey Lodge for my husband's work conference earlier this summer. Overall, it was a great long weekend getaway. While he was in meetings, I ventured out to the outlets. Be sure to check them out - you can get some great deals.

What we liked: the shuttle to/from Hershey Park and Chocolate World; the free chocolate bars upon check-in; the characters were fun to see in the lobby

What we didn't like: The layout of the hotel was kind of tricky to navigate; parking was a hassle - we ended up leaving our car in the lot most of the weekend though, so that helped.

What to check out next time: We didn't have a chance to try out the pool, but the outdoor pool looked nice and was close to our room. Didn't look too crowded, either!

Room Tip: Try to get a room in the Tower, as they are closer to the lobby.
