“This is the place for chocoholics!”
Reviewed July 4, 2014

I am really obsessed with Hershey's milk chocolate since i was a child, so when i was in the states i visited Hershey's Chocolate world. If you don't have a car or someone to give you a ride it is impossible to arrive! It is not like in Europe, in the states everybody has a car so it doesn't matter.. Anyway. The place is lovely especially for children. You have to visit the chocolate exhibition tour which is really interesting. most of the adventure games are for young children so the best thing to do is to enjoy chocolate bars and sweets! Even though the whole place has a more commercial atmosphere, i think it's worth the visit!

“Fun Time”
Reviewed July 4, 2014

Even though we have done the ride so many times everyone in our family likes to ride it again and again! the ride explains how the chocolate is made and a few other fun facts. The layout in the building has changed, different entrance to the ride and more shopping was added. There is still a free sample of the good stuff upon exiting the ride and then the shopping starts! some items were crazy over priced while others were not too bad. There is also many add on items such as create your own chocolate bar. Fun for a hour or two!

“Okay- not worth a long wait”
Reviewed July 3, 2014 via mobile

We were driving by Hershey around 7pm and decided to stop for the quick tour and shop at Chocolate World. Parking is free at the end of the day and there was not a line for the free ride located in the gift shop. It was fun to shop but would never wait in line for that ride. If you're in the area it would be a fun amusement park to go to, but I would go early or late.

“It's a giant gift shop”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

If you have young kids it might be really entertaining, but to me it seemed like just a large gift shop full of chocolate. We still spent 2 hours there doing the factory tour which was cute and free and looking around at all of the food and merchandise. It was a good break from being outside in the rain, but I would plan other things to do in Hershey and not going just for this attraction alone.

“Not impressed”
Reviewed July 3, 2014 via mobile

I had been hearing about this place forever and we get there and it is a mad house. The whole place is pretty much a gift shop. The free tour was great for my younger kids, but when we wanted to do the make your own chocolate, we were told that they did not do that until 5:00. (No where on the website.) Then we asked about the history of chocolate class and the lady glanced at my 3 year old and rudely said, "I do not think that is for you. It is a classroom setting." So we did the free tour, bought chocolate, and left. Not worth the two hour drive at all!
