We've been to Chocolate World about a dozen times, and it's still lots of fun. The free ride with a chocolate sample at the end is always a big hit with the kids & we've gone on it probably 40 times! We have done the 3d movie (not worth it), make your own chocolate bar (pricey but fun and interesting & they taste great!).

Some tips:

Make your own chocolate bar-
When you order your ticket at the ticket counter & give your name, make sure you give the name you want printed on the chocolate bar label. I wanted to make one for a gift for someone, so I gave his name & it said "X's" chocolate. They come in a nice metal keepsake box & make a cute souvenir.

The milkshakes are REALLY good!

“Loved this place!”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

We had heard mixed reviews of this place. We were in Hershey will a large group of cheerleaders & we decided to take the group to Chocolate World not knowing what to expect. It was FUN & a GREAT place to bring a group! We loved it! The free ride was fun & the whole place had a really fun atmosphere! People of all ages should go there whenever they are in Hershey!!

“WOW even the big kids enjoyed themselves!”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Our family consists of 3 adult children, one teen, and a baby grandson. We go away together every year as a family for the holidays, and this year we went to Mount Gretna PA. We decided to suggest to the kids that we go to Hershey Chocolate World for an afternoon not expecting the enthusiastic response we got. We all enjoyed the free ride and bought the funny family photo at the end. The big kids enjoyed the singing cows as much as the baby did. We bought our chocolate after and spent a few hours laughing and discussing their childhood memories, what a great day.

“O.K , The Wife Loves Chocolate more then Me !!”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

Not being a big chocolate fiend (of the Hershey brand) the wife talked me into visiting this "place" on our travels. I'm sorry to say it was a load of .......and as others have stated it is a huge advertisment for the product where they actually have people pay them to view the products , taste etc , etc ! I flatly refused to part with any do$h and we only went on the free ride which a 3yr old would have loved but not Moi !! The next 1/2 hour was spent by said wife picking over priced baubles to show she had visited the place !! Go figure ?? Now the Hershey Castle , Fun Park and Stadium may lift the tempo up in season but the factory tour was a big let down ! But good luck to them if they can pick pockets this way legally !! I personally think that labelling the 'Choco World' as an 'Attraction' is a fairly large stretch of the imagination.
