We stayed 3 nights while vacationing in Hershey. The location was excellent for the price we paid. It was within walking distance to a number of restaurants (although a number of them were closed on Sunday evening which was the day we arrived). We especially liked walking to Mixie's each evening for frozen yogurt. There is a Rite Aid across the street. It was also within walking distance to Hershey Park and Chocolate World although the shortcut involved walking over railroad tracks which may have been illegal. We could see/hear the roller coasters at Hershey Park from our window.
The room wasn't overly big or special but it was clean. We appreciated having a refrigerator and microwave in the room.
The free breakfast was nice but it was very chaotic at times with the number of people trying to eat at the same time. While we appreciated the shuttle, the line was quite long for it the morning we went to Hershey Park. We opted to walk to the park instead of waiting. The shuttle was convenient at other times. We liked that the pool was indoors but it could have been cleaner. Internet was free but we had a hard time getting a good connection.
Overall, I liked this hotel and would stay here again. I thought we got a great rate for the area. It was definitely nicer than the last 2 Days Inn I stayed at.
The hotel is outdated and very dated. There is no storage in the rooms for our belongings and no closet to hang up any belongings that need to hung.
