Expect a wait in season and on weekends. And you wait by the honor system. It is a small place. It looks like a diner but you can expect things like prime rib or crab cakes or salmon among the specials. A bit of home cooking with a touch of fine dining. Been there for lunch and dinner. Love the salad with brie and cranberry for lunch. Dinner time usually has a pretty good selection of specials. The comfort food is always homestyle but surprisingly the more upscale items are done in a restaurant quality. Seafood is far better than any diner. And the cost is very reasonable. Cakes and pies are first rate.
