Clean-clean, new, very comfy, everything worked, room with nice amenities. Helpful overnight front desk worker. Out on the edge of town near hwy. No problems at all.

Just stayed 3 nights in a 1 BR king suite. The space is laid out to maximize the usefulness of the room area without feeling cramped. Very clean! Wonderful bed. Suite included gas fireplace, which must be nice in the winter.Full kitchen features with franite couner top.
Upscale look throughout the hotel.
Front desk friendly. Breakfast and evening reception look very nice, although we did not partake of most of the food 4 dietary reasons. Cold lemonade and fresh fruit always available in lobby.

Indoor pool was nice. Very clean, not crowded when we used it.
Surprised no pay-movie channel on TV. We heard a little bit of truck-raffice noise at night from trucks entering neighboring gas station, but not enough to disturb sleep. Maybe room facing another side would not hear. Our room was farthest from elevator by our request so the elevator dinging could not be heard.
3 nights cost $500 after taxes. Studios are less.
Would definitely stay again.

I was surprised how much I got for the price (through priceline). Breakfast, afternoon snacks, etc. The kitchen (and much of the room) looked either brand new or recently updated - better than my apartment! The room and common areas were quite spacious. Everything was clean, and it's not far outside of Hazleton at all, very close to 81. The only downside is that there aren't any restaurants right neraby. However, I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Residence Inn from 30 May to 5 June. It was my second stay at the hotel, having stayed exactly one year ago, June '09. Overall, I would give the hotel very high marks. I did not see any deterioration in service from year to year. The breakfast is fantastic, a wide array of foods from hot cooked food to oatmeal, cereals, waffels and breads, juice and coffee. The free wi-fi is a problem though. We could not connect onto the internet even though it said we were connected. The signal in this area is very poor. We needed to contact Marriott technical suppot who solved the problem in 2-3 minutes. The trick is typing "www.hotel.com" in the search bar to activated your browser, otherwise internet explorer will not connect. We had to repeat this a numberof times to get online, so be aware of possible connection problems. The rooms are very clean.Towels and bedding are of high quality and comfortable. Full kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffeepot. Desk area for computer, full sofa bed and chair. Table and chairs for dining. Large lobby with a free use of computer. pool, laundry room, $2.00 per load, washing and drying. Fitness room and outdoor activity area, with basketball court and tennis court. Managers reception on Tuesday and Wednesday night with food and drink and outdoor BBQ grill. Other than the disappointment with the internet, I would give it the highest marks. Also the hotel is in an industrial area with plants and office complex close by. Trailer trucks can be annoyning as they roar down the highway and then drop into low gear and make a load thundering noise even at night.

We wanted a place to stay near Eagle Rock Resort for a skiing weekend. This is a newish facility only 5 mins up the road from the Resort. Even after buying lift tickets, our cost was less than half the cost for Eagle Rock Ski and Stay package, includes a decent hot breakfast, and we had an indoor pool/spa (Eagle Rock only has seasonal out door pools). We stayed in a studio suite, which had a great lay out, full kitchen, bed and sleeper sofa, and plenty of room for my family of four. We booked through Expedia and saved $20 off the hotel's website price. The hotel was fantastic, and if we ever come back to Eagle Rock, we would stay there again. However, be warned, Hazleton itself was a bit of a disappointment, and there weren't many places to eat nearby.

Stopped for a one night stay on the way to Virginia. Very nice hotel. It appeared to be fairly new so everything was fresh and new. We had a king studio which included a full kitchen complete with dishes, pots, pans, and silverware. Having read the reviews I knew that there were no restaurants nearby so we packed some food and used the microwave. It was nice to not have to go out, in the dark in a strange place, and search for a place to eat. The unit was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, and we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
