Since it was a beautiful evening in Fall my husband and I and another couple decided to dine At Ehrhardt's at the Waterfront on Lake Wallenpaupack. Being a week night we had no trouble being seated by the window to take advantage of the beautiful sunset.
I ordered broiled flounder with roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables. Although the flounder was fresh it did not have much taste as did the vegetables. It was accompanied by a fresh salad with a delicious creamy Italian house dressing and rolls and butter.
My husband ordered chicken breasts and shrimp with a Jack Daniels BBQ sauce which he said was tasty.
I tried the "make your own" sundae for dessert. Many of the toppings were low and should have been filled and I feel they could do a better job of keeping the ice cream scoop clean as the water it was in was not very appetizing.
Our waiter was very friendly and attentive.
It is also a B and B which has been run by the same family for 70 years.
I will revisit but for lunch next time which might be a better choice.
