I must admit. The thought of vacationing in the Poconos with my kids conjured up images of heart shape tubs in aging resorts. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was an incredibly family friendly place. The staff could not have been nicer or more accomodating. We stayed in the lakefront suite mid week and it was lovely. Well appointed and very clean. The food was excellent -- a pleasant surprise given the number of people they serve at the meal seatings. My only regret is that it didn't know about the place sooner when my kids--now 18, 12 and 8, were even younger. The 12 and 8 year olds went with us and I would imagine that the 18 year old would have enjoyed himself as well had he not been off on a different adventure. .
