We tried sisco's on the advice of several of our neighbors. It turned out to be some of the best pizza in HBG. It had a clean fresh taste that is hard to describe, but here goes. We ordered a regular large with tomatoes on top. The crust was a thin hand tossed type and had a nice crunch to the ends, and was not soggy in the middle. Cooked well through, but not charred. The sauce was generous and had a very nice seasoning to it (not spicy). The cheese tasted great, it seemed like a higher quality than most places use around here, there weren't pools of grease separating around it, had a nice stretch to it, and they put just enough without it being too much. The tomatoes cover the whole pie and were cut nicely, (they weren't just wafer thin slivers). All and all for its simplicity, great clean taste none of that old greasy smell and taste that some others in the city have, Sisco's has now become our new pizza joint. Its a little bit higher priced that some of the deals that the "chains" are running now, however I have no doubts that Sisco's pizza would beat any chain in taste and would probably be lower in fat and calories judging by the lack of grease on the top of the pie! Ours was $14 .
