I read some of other Tripadvisor reviews of the Official Barbecue and decided to stop in for dinner. This place is truly a hidden gem with some of the best food in its class that I've ever eaten. It's off the beaten path, and not very fancy, but it's definitely worth the trip. The pulled pork sandwich is overflowing with tender, perfectly-seasoned meat, and the side order of french fries could feed two hungry people. On a second visit, I tried the Angus burger, which was among the best hamburgers that I've ever eaten. Everything is prepared on site and is extremely fresh.
This would be the perfect restaurant to take a family or a group of friends for a casual night out. The dining room is bright and clean, and there are even some picnic tables out front for when the weather gets warmer in a few months. I hope to return many times as I work my way through the menu.
