What could have been the most wonderful thing in the world was simply too crowded to enjoy. I remembered enjoying the Farm Show as a child, and was so excited to get to share it with my children finally. I knew that Saturday would be busy, but it was the only option for some family members, so we tried it. Getting to the handicap parking lot was crazy. Parking wasn't marked far enough ahead that you knew where you were going, then people were cutting in off of the highway, making the lane that we were in move at a snails pace. Once inside, the crowds were suffocating. We could barely move. It probably would have been fun as a couple, but with four kids and five adults trying to stay together it was crazy. We enjoyed the animals, but the rodeo was standing room only - not even that really. With two members of our party really needing to sit, we found seating to be in short supply. My pregnant sister passed out while we were trying to leave because there was no where for her to sit down. I wish I knew if it were significantly better on a weekday during the day, because we really enjoyed what we saw and wished we could have seen more. But as it was, I would never recommend it for a large group or anyone in less than perfect health and mobility.
