It's funny how you often know more about restaurants in places other than where you live. We live just outside of Harrisburg and were looking for someplace different, maybe some music and food. I never realized Carley's was here, and didn't know they are part of Stocks on 2nd. This is a fairly small place, I'd guess there are 20 small tables and a bar. It is a piano bar ... in Harrisburg! Who knew? The music is at a nice volume and very good the night we were there. The piano is centrally located, tucked along the wall. The food was delicious. We had an unusual app involving eggplant and a pizza with Gorgonzola, caramelized onions and walnuts. There was a specialty martini, which my wife enjoyed, and a few beers on tap. They have a good wine list as well. So, we found a great place for a Friday night that is a little quieter than some of the other offerings on 2nd street but isn't stuffy or over priced. It's not wings and mozzarella sticks so apps were in the $8 - $10 range but nice portions. It's on our list of weekend options. Oh, almost forgot, service was excellent.
