“Waste Of Time”
Reviewed February 13, 2012

Cribari's needs to take a course in customer service and restaurant management. We had reservations for 7:30pm and were there on time. Two other parties were standing in front of us waiting to be seated. Well, Cribari's messed up a reservation for the 8 in front of us, so they made people WHO WERE ALREADY EATING, move to another table. The hostess told us "we are running a Valentines Day special, so it's taking people longer to eat. Sorry." That was the last time we saw her. At 8:05pm, we left and went to Appalachian Brewing Company and were seated immediatly. No apology, nothing. My boyfriend and I will NOT be going back. It's a shame. Good job Cribari's. You lost our business and the other 3 parties that walked out before we did.

“Good food and BYOB!”
Reviewed January 31, 2012

We have visited Cribari's twice and left pleased (and very full!) on both of our visits. They have a regular menu with several specials every night. Their vodka sauce is homemade and it's to die for! Prices are very reasonable and portions are pretty big. We like that it's BYOB too. The restaurant is small with small tables so make a reservation if possible.

“Hidden Gem in the Burg.”
Reviewed January 26, 2012

Ernie and Jeff have a great restaurant. Jeff's food is wonderful. I haven't had a thing on the menu that wasn't great. Try Ernie's Lemoncello dessert. Reservations necessary. BYOB is a big plus.

“Hidden gem, delicious food”
Reviewed January 3, 2012

I have eaten here twice and both times have been wonderful. It is directly across the street from my favorite movie theater (Reily). How wonderful to walk across the street after the movies and find this gem.

The interior is small with tables close together, but the ambiance is nice with mellow music (Dean Martin, Perry Como - old school!) and a lively customer base. It feels like a family restaurant and the wait staff was very efficient, friendly and helpful.

The daily specials are inspired - the first I tried was the filet mignon which was hands down better than any steak house. $15.99 and it came with two sides. The meat had some type of topping (butter? seasonings?) that was so delicious and took the entree from "just meat" to memorable.

The next visit I tried the pulled pork sandwich. Delicious, perfectly seasoned and very filling. For dessert, the homemade canollis are among the best I have ever tried - crispy shells and creamy, not-too-sweet filling.

My friends have tried various sandwiches and entrees, and all gave their selections a high recommendation. We look forward to returning again and again every time we visit the Reily for a movie night.
