We arrived late in the evening and the lady on reception was lovely and very welcoming after a long journey, our stay was only for one night as part of a road trip. A package had been fed ex'ed to us from the travel company and had arrived during the day and placed in our room waiting for our arrival. The room was extremely clean with all the facilities required. We ate across the road at Gilligans which was recommended (an excellent, very friendly place to eat, drink, relax and watch one of 3 American Football matches being played on 3 screens :) It was extremely good value and the service excellent! Also a very short walk back to the hotel. It was very quiet which was a suprise at it stated it was close to the airport - but this wasnt an issue as we didnt hear one! Breakfast was complimentary and was self served in a very small area (there was no order and children were free to run round) - however there are two benches outside which served our purposes nicely and the orange juice and pastries were lovely. There is also a computer with internet access and a phone available if you wish to look into any of the local attractions (there is a stand with leaflets and booklets with lots of choice) Checkout was nice and easy with yet another pleasant receptionist so overall a lovely hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff.

Room Tip: We had a room on the third floor and it was silent.

Hotel is older, but nice area for dogs. Carpet in room was stained, but otherwise the room was clean. Breakfast was average, cereal, bagels, toast, boiled eggs, waffles, apples and over ripe bananas. Only issue was very little insulation between floors - at night, it sounded like kids in a gyn overhead...til 3:00am the first night. Surrounding area is high traffic area.

Room Tip: avoid 1st floor because of overhead noise

I was here for the weekend to catch the Mixtape Festival at Hershey Park. La Quinta was the most affordable and most accomodating. They are about 15 min from the park, which can be longer with traffic, so that's something to consider. We were happily greeted by the staff when we walked in. The staff was pretty nice. Our room was comfortable for the 4 of us. It was kind of odd how the sink was outside of the bathroom, and the first thing you see when you walk in but it wasn't a big deal. The only issue I had was the lock in our room. For some reason, none of the key cards they gave us worked so we had to be escorted to our room so they can use the executive key to open our door. They comped us a night for the inconvenience and also gave us a voucher for a free night stay at any of their locations, which was perfectly okay with us.

La Quinta was definitely worth the money and I'd happily stay here again.

We stayed here to break up our trip back from Virginia. I am so glad I paid with points instead of real money or I would have been even more disappointed. The entire hall as well as our room reeked of smoke. The carpets were old and dingy as was the bathtub. My older daughter normally sleeps on the floor in a sleeping bag to avoid sharing a bed with her sister but she was creeped out by the condition of the room so they shared a bed.The hotel really needs to be remodeled in order to be a place I would ever stay again. The only bright spot was the free breakfast which was fine.

Room Tip: I would ask to smell the room first perhaps some of them are cleaner than others.
