hot beef sandwich is pretty much universal... looked like congealed beef and gravy on bread. Our berry cobbler dessert was cold, straight from the fridge. at least room temp, or zap it in the microwave a second... We know every day can't be great, but this looked like the norm. It will be the last visit to ANY, not just this one... a chain experience is AN experience to represent the group.

Had a good meal there as usual. Tried the BBQ chicken breast and wife had a salad with walnuts, apple and strawberries that she loved. Portions looked a bit smaller than usual though. Must be the economy! Cracker Barrel always a favorite and always consistently good food!

We love the food quality and the selections available at Cracker Barrel. Especially their low carb selections! With the low carb section, it makes it easy to make the right choices for our diet... not expected at this type of restaurant. Good job Cracker Barrel!!!!

There must be a lot of shoplifing from this establishment. Either that, or maybe I looked grubbier than usual. The ladies who operate this place hovered over me as I browsed for Easter gifts and one offered to hold an item I was carrying in the manner of someone who is considering that you may be attempting to shoplift from their store. Perhaps they were only meaning well, but I didn't observe this behavior presented towards other people. They should, perhaps, invest in some anti-theft devices, rather than offend customers. Probably the wrong way to run a retail business.

We eat at the Hamburg Cracker Barrel quite regularly. We tend to go on a weeknight because it can be very busy on the weekends. Generally there is not a wait time for dinner during the week. When a table is not immediately available, there are plenty of things to browse through in the Country Store while waiting. The menu includes a variety of basic dishes that are consistently prepared and are relatively inexpensive. If that's what you're looking for, this is a good choice. There are a number of low carb offerings and salads for those who are watching their weight. A popular item is the Broccoli Cheddar Chicken, which is generally available on Wednesday night. They often offer seasonal promotions with a special menu item or two being featured. Service is usually good and if there is a problem with your order, they work to correct it for you.
