“Outstanding once again”

This was our second annual trip to Grove City, and there was no second-guessing about where we would stay again this year: Terra Nova! Just like last year, the service and cleanliness were above and beyond. The owners have truly thought of everything, and you feel instantly at-home. Everything is there for the *guests.* Each room is different and has a themed décor with its own unique antique furniture. There is coffee, tea, and water available at all times. There is free, off-street parking in a nice, quiet neighborhood, nicely located (near the Grove City Outlets, the college, etc.). And breakfast never disappoints! There are always three options for a main course: healthy, sweet, or savory dishes. And then a vast array of sides to choose from - as many as you want. And if you are worried about allergies or special diets, they are so accommodating! Really, they will go out of their way for any of their guests. New this year, they had remodeled a couple of their bathrooms and added window air conditioner units in each room. Just couldn't ask for more. I would recommend this place to everyone without hesitation!

I stumbled across this wonderful B&B on the internet as I was hoping to stay the night and also find for a safe place to leave my vehicle while I was being picked up by my uncle on a longer journey to Michigan for a wedding. I felt comfortable with my chat with Ryan about leaving my vehicle and he was extremly accommodating to help me out the best that he could. I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy decor, the warm professionalism and all the details that he had made to make my short stay a wonderful one including going out of his way to find someone in town to come and give me a massage last minute. Which was wonderful too. It's an old house rich in history and found it very comfortable and every detail in place. I would highly recommend Terra Nova House to anyone to stay here and enjoy the local shops, restaurants, etc. Thanks Ryan!!

We have stayed at Terra Nova several times now and each visit is more delightful. On prior visits, we stayed as a couple and also as a family in one room and with two rooms. We have stayed in all the rooms, this last time being in the smallest. We found it quite comfortable and breakfast was full, healthy, fun, and accommodating. More than that, there were so many "extras" that this has become our favorite place. Two unusual yet urgent clerical needs arose and Ryan met those needs with grace and efficiency. In addition, though we rarely have the need, the parlor was an inviting place to talk with two professors of our daughter one night and, on another, to meet a few of her friends in a quiet setting and hospitable setting. Both the innkeepers and guests showed great respect for and appreciation for its restful, peaceful, and hospitable ambiance...above and beyond what one normally expects. I would consider this an excellent location for business, solo, couples, friends, and, families.

My son and I spent the day in Grove City with his daughter since we only had her for the day. After going to Terra Nova House, Ryan gave us a map for the area, suggested activities for us, and opened his doors for us to spend as much time as we wanted at his establishment. It made an difficult day much more pleasant, and we had a wonderful time! He and his family are top notch hosts and we would highly recommend Terra Nova house to anyone visiting the area!

We have stated at Bed and Breakfasts since the early 1970's and used Norm Simpson's guide, Country Inns and Backroads. He was very particular as to what went into his early guide. I think Terra Nova would have met his approval. The place was so sweet and every details was covered! I disagree with the ONE negative review!!!! Look at the pictures on the website and you will see the decor before you book. The reviewer was not fair in his/her criticism! It is also not fair to put down an inn because of a bed restaurant experience in the town!!! We had a great meal in Grove City. It is not a culinary hot spot but that is not the innkeeper's fault. He sure outdid himself on breakfast, snacks, cheese plate, brownies, etc. He thought of every need a traveler might have and should be very proud of his quality accommodations. We would recommend it and will come back.

Room Tip: All rooms looked nice. We stayed in Caribbean which was smallest but nice...others larger and very n...

After a great day of shopping at the Grove City Outlet Mall, things got even better when we arrived at the Terra Nova House. Although we arrived 20 minutes earlier than we said we would, Ryan cheerfully greeted us and helped with our luggage. After an orientation, we were given a breakfast menu. This is something we had never experienced before, and a fine idea. There were 3 selections to choose from. After making our selection we could choose sides to go with it. For light eaters, no food wasted. For bigger eaters, more can be added. Fantastic!! Then you select the time you wish to eat. Our breakfast was excellent. Terra Nova House was clean, the neighborhood was quiet, and there was off street parking. Ryan was very helpful with our restaurant selection. We went with Compadres for Mexican food, and were not disappointed. What a great place to stay, we couldn't have asked for anything better.

Just back from a lovely trip to Terra Nova House. Had a great stay. Ryan went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable. Our room was lovely and had that B&B antique feel that we were looking for. Terra Nova was well stocked with "extra"s - We had a fruit cheese plate awaiting us on our arrival, , not one but two one cup coffee machines for our use (one on each floor), fridge fully stocked with water, juices etc, and lots of snacks for "raiding". Options for breakfast (savoury, sweet and "healthy"). I look forward for an opportunity to return. We stayed in the Royal Room which was pictured on his site. Lots of atmosphere. Netflix and dvd's to choose from too. There was even a couple of places to people watch (porches). And of course Grove City shopping was excellent this Memorial Day weekend. Thanks for a great visit to Grove City!
