Stopped for the evening for a family dinner. Good variety of selections and reasonable prices. Somewhat noisy with sports bar atmosphere.

This is not a place you go for the fine dining, though the food is fine. This is the ultimate Pittsburgh dining experience, because the Primanti Bros epitomize the long storied history and spirit of Pittsburgh. Doesnt matter if you are at the original downtown location or in one of the suburban stores. The atmosphere, the staff, the music, the bar. And their No 2 most famous sandwich.... Thats what makes it a Five Star experience!!!

Pretty good sandwich. I got the corned beef. Girlfriend got the buffalo chicken sandwich. No complaints. Service good. Will try again when in Pittsburgh area.

If you want a true tasty, big filled sandwich, then this is your place! The PITTSBURGH steak is my favorite. Filed with yummy steak, cole slaw, cheese and boardwalk fries, it truly is by far your best value for the buck. Try one soon! A PITTSBURGH tradition for many years!

It a large room with lots of tv's all playing the samething, Had to ask to turn on NASCAR and they did not know what channel, Son came in for hoilday and we went to Idlewild Park and he had to have one of their sandwiches. I do not get excited over cold/soggy fries and vinager coleslaw just heaped on top of very little meat, (maybe that is why they offer double meat on menu). Wife ordered a pizza and the dough was not crisp like she asked for, but in her words, "half cooked". I ordered a pita (lamb) and had to ask for more sauce and the meat was cold in the middle of sandwich. I'm glad I do not have to eat here but 1 time a year. The help could be heard talking about other they work with where people could hear them, very unprofessional, but they are kids. Might need more training or at least a manager on the floor.
