We like the Sunset Cafe!! The food is wonderful. I do wish they had lunch though. Also, they do not take reservations so if you have a large party it can be very hard to get in. Friday nights before a football game......Sunset then football. Doesn't get any better!!

This place was recommended to us by friends and I was in the mood for italian. We thought it was very good..yummy bread...i got the chicken parm which was good...my boyfriend tried the bella angela and he didnt actually care for that at all..but i would say the best thing was the pizza...it was so good...best around here at least what we found! The waitress was just ok, couldhave been more interactive and a little friendlier but definitely will be back and would recommend this place.

Sunset has recently remodeled, and the interior has really benefited from it. Situated in an old house overlooking Greensburg's Offutt Field, the restaurant is a unique environment with a bar and numerous dining rooms, and it had desperately needed the TLC it recently got. It's still a bit more drafty than a different sort of setting might be, but I had to first address how much better this is than it used to be.

The waiters and waitresses have been there for a long time in many cases, and most of them are friendly and attentive. The kitchen becomes quite slow on busy evenings. On my last visit, it took a good 45 minutes to an hour to cook a pizza and a bowl of pasta, so be prepared for this, most particularly if on a weekend evening.

The menu is pretty good, if a bit pricy for the offerings. The salads are particularly enjoyable in my experience. Bread and oil are typically brought to the table before your entree is served, and it is tasty as well.

To summarize, expect a cozy environment, decent-but-sometimes-slow service, and slightly higher than average prices for slightly better than average food.

If you want to watch Seton Hill University Football or Greensburg Salem High School Football, then this place offers a great spot for this.
