So what do you want to eat? Romantic sit down? Old favorites? New style cuisine? Gourmet or traditional favorites? Quick sandwich soup snack? Even just dessert? This place has it all.
Ambience is nice. Doesn't seat more than about 50 with open window into kitchen. Owner and head chef is very visible and makes sure that everything is exactly how he intended it and how you want it.
The food is outstanding. Take traditional items and add a flair that takes it to a new level of taste. Double handed breaded cheese sticks served with traditional marinara AND a separate habanero pepper dipping sauce. You can get your pizza traditional with just pepperoni or you can get one of their gourmet pizza offerings. All pizzas are brushed with a garlic butter on the crust. It's just those little things that raise the standard a bit. If you are looking for a full meal, they are available also with portions big enough that you'll take some home.
I have the crime brûlée for dessert and it was very good. Served with Kona coffee (yes Kona! It's the little things) it was the perfect ending to the meal.
This is a BYOB or wine place. Small corkage fee for wine. When I was there 4 out of 5 tables had brought wine with them so don't feel odd carrying a bottle in.
Haven't been over for lunch yet but apparently they do a rotating menu of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches at lunch.
Great for a date or a family gathering.
