“ENJOYED OUR MEAL”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2014

Came on a Saturday night with my family which consist of 4 of us. Waiter was VERY friendly and helpful. GREAT personality which only enhances the experience. Food was quality at VERY good prices. Salad bar was a nice touch as well. I had the French Onion Soup and a Steak. Both were well seasoned and very good. I have a Second home in the area and will definitely be back!

“satisfied our curiosity”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2014

made a special trip to Pinehurst Country Lodge after hearing of it on Restaurant Impossible. We travel this way often on our way to our vacation home nearby. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. We were pleasantly pleased that this out of the way location had so many patrons. Our dinner was excellent. My husband had the pesto chicken. I had the scallop special. We shared the mushroom soup appetizer. Bathrooms were cold and need updating. Will definitely return.

“Food was excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals at the Pinehurst. The salmon was delightful, very tasty, chicken was very good, the sides were very, very tasty, they included mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables and some had french fries Our server was very friendly, had knowledge of the food she was serving and very attentive to our needs and food was served at a reasonable pace. The decor was done in an especially tasteful style, done by Robert Irvine and his staff. No doubt, we will return!!

“Nice atmosphere, excellent food, decent prices.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013

Hidden little gem....the atmosphere is really nicely decorated. The drinks were great and the food was excellent...all fairly priced. I had a pumpkin martini, garlic wings and a cheeseburger...all were excellent. I'm not usually a fan of live music but the guy they had was very good. Played classic songs and wasn't too loud. Nice background setting. Would come again!

“Pinehurst dinner”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

We used to frequent this cute little country house to eat in years ago. We all loved it for years but then something happened and the food wasn't as good as it used to be. The last time we went was 2012 and the prime rib was bland. We were all disappointed. Then we saw them on tv and they had a makeover. One of the things the owner asked was to make the prime rib better. We went this past June. They made the décor a little more upbeat attracting the younger crowd. There was music and we liked that. Unfortunately we weren't too impressed with the service or the food. The table was dirty, the salad bar is small and you are in the way of the kitchen staff running in and out. I had told our waitress that it was my mother in law's birthday a couple of times but her appetizer was the last one to come out. We were all done eating our appetizers. We felt kind of ignored most of our visit. It was hard to get our waitress's attention. Most of the food was good but I have to say that the prime rib was still bland. I think our party was disappointed with our meals and remembered the cute little country house with the fantastic food but they do have to make changes to cater to the young crowd. We didn't get dessert which was a little disappointing since it was a birthday. Everyone just wanted to go. We might try it again when they get a little more time under their belt. Maybe it was just a bad night.
