We frequent this area often, but only recently tried this location. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. The bar manager will gladly make any concoction you request!
We plan to visit regularly when we are in the vicinity. One of the best restaurants in the area.

We have been coming here religiously for over 5 years... each time it gets better. The specials are incredible, the service, impeccable even when extremely busy, and the standard dishes are great too. All gourmet food even the cheeseburger! We have a lake house in the area and would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone within a 50 mile radius... It is that good!

We have been here a few times. And this time we brought people with us because we have always had wonderful food, and wanted to show off this gem. The food is just wonderful. The waitress was great. But it doesn't make up for the owner scolding us like small children. He was rude. VERY rude.
We were placed at a table too close to another. Our waitress kept trying to squeeze through and there wasn't enough for our seat and the seat at the other table to both be there. We decided to move our table a small distance away from the other table and the owner came out and actually scolded us for moving it. We told him the waitress was having a hard time getting through and that the two seats at opposite tables kept hitting each other. He didn't care. He stormed off into the kitchen and when we tried to explain to his daughter she told us they were hand crafted tables and shouldnt be moved. I think that if a table is so fragile that it cannot be carefully moved but a few feet it has no place in a resturaunt holding 7 different peoples food and drinks.
All in all, if you can handle the downright nasty owner go ahead and go. The food is great. But be prepared to have a massive dose of terrible attitude with your filet mignon.

O'Donnell's has the best food in this area of the Poconos hands down. This is a family owned and operated restaurant and bar who strives to provide quality food and service in a comfortable and CLEAN environment (I've seen the kitchen). Stop in and give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I never thought I would find "Cheers" in the Poconos. I am a single guy whose job and family calls for a lot of travel. I have dined in many restaurants, both good and bad. O'Donnell's ranks among the finest establishments I have stumbled into (or out of). The menu is classy, steak, fish, soup and salads, with the usual bar food that also doubles as a late night menu. There are weekly specials that only compliment the already palatable menu. The bar is well stocked with both top shelf spirits and a fine selection of beers. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, apparently vacuumed frequently, and with 3 big screen TV’s, it is almost certain you’ll get to see your game. This charming family restaurant is a gem in the mountains. Return once or twice and “everyone will know your name.” I highly recommend a visit so you can see for yourself. So, Cheers to the chef, Cheers to the staff, and Cheers to O’Donnell’s Food and Spirits!
