Wow! Our Suite at the Inn was awesome (included breakfast). The Happy Hour at the restaurant was amazing. Did not get a chance to eat dinner there but heard that the food was really good. The Inn is centrally located near shopping centers, etc. Would go back in a heartbeat, and would love to have dinner in the restaurant if we get that chance.

Room Tip: Our Suite had a refrigerator and microwave in it.

The Best Western chain picked up the old Concordville Inn and have done a nice job with the property. The facility is well-located in between Routes 1 and 322 convenient to downtown West Chester, and the attractions in Chadds Ford (Longwood Gardens, Brandywine Museum, etc). The property hosts a scenic goose pond on the 322 side and an on-site pub and restaurant on the route 1 side. As of this writing some construction is going on over on the Route 1 side but it is not major. The rooms are well-appointed with tasteful black leather furniture although some of the property’s age shows through (the bathroom interior doorknob was broken in our room). We kept running into housekeeping staff so cleanliness was not a concern. The exercise room downstairs is larger and better appointed than the average hotel at this price point. Unfortunately, someone decided to light the pool room with outdoor arc sodium lights, which in combination with the exposed painted cinder block, gives the area a creepy ambience although the natural lighting on the 322 side helps. The complimentary breakfast is the standard offering for hotels in this price range and during our stay the breakfast room was nearly overrun so that plates were hard to come by and the cappuccino machines were empty. In short, the flexible location and on-sight pub combine with a degree of character to make this a good stay.

Room Tip: As with most hotels, upper floors are better

So comfortable I accidently slept until 1:30 P.M. Meg was working the front desk and was so kind, giving me until 2 to check out. When I joked that I must have missed the continental breakfast, she went upstairs and got me fruit and a muffin, then showed me where to get myself coffee. She went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Stayed in 5th floor suite over Thanksgiving for 1 night. HUGE living space, 40 inch flat screen, microwave, small fridge, sleeper sofa, big ottoman. Everything was clean and big..could sleep atleast 5 in the living area. Attached seperate bedroom with king bed and additional 40 inch flatscreen.
Complimentary hot breakfast was great available 6 - 9:30 am..waffles..OJ. made to order omlettes..cofee.pastries and all.
Attached restaurant, we only paid$139 for the suite which was a great deal. Will definately stay here again. Service was good, room big, free breakfast! What else you need?
Only SMALL complaint there was no fan in the bathroom so shower was hot! No biggie though

Room Tip: Get a Suite they are huge and cheap!

We were at the end of a long business trip and had booked into this hotel as it looked good and was near the places we wanted to visit. We had an overnight flight from Fan Francisco to Philadelphia The hotel did give us shower facilities when we arrived. Check in was not till 3pm... most hotels are 2pm and usually can give earlier times. This was a Sunday so we went for a drive and get some breakfast. Luckily Longwood Gardens was only a short drive so we had a pleasant few hours there. We arrived back at the hotel at 2.45pm and they had to check if there was a room available. There was only on person on duty and 3 or 4 people wating to check in. We did get a room, which was great and decided to have a coupe of hours sleep to get over the flight. We put the 'do not disturb' sign on the door but an hour later we were awakened by a knock at the door. 'Had we checked in!!!!!' was the question! "Could we call reception to confirm!!!" "Call back from reception "Which credit card as used!!!" We gave up on the sleep and went for dinner....couldn't find the restaurant though the menus were posted all over the hotel. The restaurant is in a separate building across a very dimly lighted car park. The access to the said restaurant is from an unmarked door in the second floor breakfast room! We did have a meal there once we found it. The food was OK was very slow service. This hotel is in a beautiful setting of parkland, pond and gardens. At check out we complained about the service and got an apology plus two bags of chips and bottles of water all of which were confiscated when we reached the airport security......Can't win!!!!!!!
