Felt right at home from the minute Ginger greeted us at the door. She and Sam were awesome hosts. Their recommendations for restaurants and and things to do were perfect! Can't say enough about the breakfast, and Ginger's homemade peanut butter, yum!! Enjoyed our stay immensely! Clean, historic, close to everything but not too close. Make sure you get the tour. Can't wait to stay again!

From the moment you walk into stoltzfus B&B you feel like your home, if your home was a mansion used in the Cival war as part of the underground railroad. The Founders room has a closet that has a hidden door in the floor that opens up and slaves would hide in there till the coast was clear. History is only the begining, the furniture is inviting and comfy in the living room with a huge fireplace a great place to end your day or start a new one.The breakfast served was spectacularly displayed by owner Ginger and Sam Stoltzfus with fresh picked flowers adorning the beautfully table. There was scrambled eggs from a local farmer that were almost golden in color so fresh. Local ham and bacon roasted potatoes also fresh baked bread and the best french toast i have ever had. It was made with a orange and walnut glaze that was delectable. There was locally made fresh yogurt that was thick and rich and served with fesh local strawberries kiwi blueberries and granola wow.The owners Sam and Ginger make you feel at home and this B&B will be our go to place when we stay in lancaster Jules and Diana Scaramuzzi

How I wish that your stay was more than just than one night as I feel we would have had lots to talk about!! I'm certain we'll run into each other again whether it's here or a Philly's game!

Stayed here before under different owners. It was okay, but not good enough for us to return. I happened to see on-line that it had a new name, & new owners, so I looked into it further, & liked what I saw. So I decided to give it another try. We weren't disappointed! They "freshened" up the place, & made some minor improvements, but the best selling point is the new owner! A couple with Amish roots now owns it. We didn't get to meet the husband, but we had the great pleasure of spending considerable time with his wife, Ginger! What a sweetheart! There's just something different about her that makes your stay that much more enjoyable! We decided we will definitely be returning to the Stolzfus B&B! BTW, we stayed on the third floor, in the 2 bedroom suite (there were 3 women). It was great! Very nice, & very spacious! And, I almost forgot one of the best things! Ginger puts on a great breakfast!! Yum! Looking forward to our next trip to Lancaster County!! :-)

This was out first time at a B&B and we loved everything about it. Ginger and Sam were great and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing. The room was beautiful. The scenery was refreshing after being in NYC. Overall, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We felt "home". We know we will be back very soon!

We've struggled in the past to find a B&B in the area that we really loved. Well, our search is over. Sam and Ginger's place is just perfect for us. The rooms are very elegant while also feeling simple, comfortable, and true to the house's unique history. The bedding was hands-down the nicest I've ever slept in. In fact we ended up buying a set of the sheets for our bed at home. The location is great -- it's an easy drive to Intercourse and other shopping/tourist spots -- but this is true Amish farm country (in fact there is a farm right next door). Sam and Ginger are fun and thoughtful hosts and their deep knowledge of the area is a huge asset. Final bonus: as others have mentioned, the breakfast is WONDERFUL. We will certainly be back.

My wife and I stayed with Sam & Ginger this past weekend, and our experience could not have been better. They were amazing hosts, and the inn itself is immaculate. Also, the breakfasts were excellent, and the variety of foods from local farms and shops made our trip feel even more like "home." We are definitely looking forward to visiting them again, hopefully in the near future, and bringing our son along.

Room Tip: The Colonial has a great gas fireplace, a private bath, and a super comfortable queen-bed.

We picked here on a whim based on their picture. We thought the house had a unique look to it. Their prices are fair and their service and house was amazing. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and happy. They are just getting started, but you'd never know it. Their hospitality and accommodations are well worth it. Their location is also perfect. It's great to be a stones throw away from everything and still feel like you are away from it all. Truly a couple that deserves your business.
