We were in town for a funeral and had 3 rooms at Foxburg Saturday night (one was for Friday and Sat). The location of the Inn and the room itself was very nice and much better than the places in Clarion off the hwy so we were glad we booked Foxburg. There is a nice restaurant for dinner next door and a pizza place on the other side that serves a great breakfast until 11am.
The Friday night of our stay was non-eventful and quiet but Saturday night was a different story. There was a wedding at the Inn and at 1am a fight of some kind started on the second floor that lasted until just before 4am. It was so loud we could not believe the police were not called. When we checked out in the morning we asked the front desk clerk about it and said we were very disappointed that we would be kept up by such disruption and she said "my manager said it was the worst party she has had here in 6 years and she did finally have to come in herself and call the police". I asked why it took hours for her to come in and for the police to come? She said she didn't know. I was in management with Marriott Hotels for over 10 years and parties happen. My point is that it should never take 3 hrs to get a situation like this under control. We did see a keg in front of the hotel as we were leaving which was a clue the party continued back in the hotel rooms after the wedding. Positive note, we did see a couple of employees with scrub brushes cleaning the cement in front of the hotel with soap and water and the steps going from the second floor to the first floor so we can only imagine what they were cleaning up. Ick.
A couple other suggestions:
The Inn is nonsmoking which is great but if you book room 208 (one of our rooms), the "smoking table" is right outside your room (like 1ft outside your room) so everyone who is going to sit and smoke will be talking and smoking outside your room all night. May want to avoid this room. (Why is this table there?)
Also two of our rooms, 101 and 102, are located on the first floor so although they say all rooms with a view, if there is a function with a tent up, the first floor rooms do not have a view because you are looking at the side of the tent.
Overall we would return to Foxburg Inn if in the area because the location is beautiful and the Inn is nice but keep our fingers crossed there are no parties.

Room Tip: Rooms 101, 102 and 103 don't have a view if there is a tent up for a function. Room 208 has a smoking table DIRECTLY outside the room which people sit at and smoke and talk. Second floor rooms would have best views.

Stayed overnight here before biking the Allegheny River Trail. Inn is well run and clean. Rooms overlook the Allegheny River. There is a restaurant next door, The Allegheny Grille (how do they come up with these creative names?). Food was good, price was reasonable and a nice outdoor patio and indoor bar.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on the second or third floor.

Resting where the Clarion and Allegheny rivers converge, Foxburg is nestled between the mountains and rises above the fog. Coming down the hill into Foxburg is reminiscent of approaching Brigadoon. A step back into a time of relaxation from a very active world. The Foxburg Inn has this lovely deck which sits right on the river. I have sat for hours casting my cares upon the water and watching the current take them away. I always comeback refreshed and recalibrated from time spent there.
It can be a romantic get away, a friends meeting spot, or a single person's respite. This inn reflects the town in the personal connections that can be made or the visitors choice of anonymity.
I have held business meetings here. Who said that business must be in walls without windows? There is nothing like getting things done with a view of trees, mountains, water and wildlife.
This Inn is my go to place to work, enjoy and escape. - Just like Brigadoon.

Room Tip: They are all good rooms with a beautiful view of the river and mountains.

Always enjoy a weekend at Foxburg, super nice area with lots to do and enjoy! The River is great especially sitting on the beautiful deck with friends! Super nice hotel with great views! Take advantage of the pontoon boat ride, very cool! Enjoyed the winery across the street forvthe afternoon and early evening! Fun time!

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a room on th first level for easy access to the great river view deck!

Stayed here one night on August 10-11 in a ground floor room overlooking the garden area. The hotel grounds are nice and we'll kept. The room was very musty so we immediately turned on the ac unit, which did help. The room was large and clean with a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The only complaint I had was that the water in the shower was not very hot, just warm. We ate at the restaurant next door and were not impressed .
