This is a rustic, lodge type restaurant built on the banks of the Allegheny River. There is patio seating available with the tables covered by umbrellas. It was raining when we were there, so we opted for indoor seating. The inside of The Allegheny Grille was very pretty, with large windows looking out at the river. Our server was excellent, very friendly. Our food came out, literally, within 5-10 minutes of ordering it. I had the Grilled Riverstone Chicken, it came with mashed potatoes, and seasonal veggies. It was very good.
There are a few other shops located next to the restaurant (wine shop, chocolate shop that serves ice cream, historic library, and a hotel.
