Everything about our stay was just what we needed. We checked in at about 8 pm on a Friday night. The front desk was pleasant and quick. Our room was exactly what we had asked for, double beds, non smoking and a mini fridge.

The room was quaint, simple and clean, nothing fancy. I was afraid of possible loudness as the walls are pretty thin, but thankfully both nights we stayed there, it was very quiet. I think our baby was the only one making noise ;) We didn't plan on hanging out in the room so it served it's purpose. Air conditioner worked just fine, although we didn't use it.

There are no 'real' restaurants around (fast food only) and there are no guides in the room to facilitate finding one. We used the internet and yellow pages to get our food. The location is right off of the highway, so it's not the best surroundings but like I said, we didn't chose to stay there because of the area, but convenience. The door was a bit challenging to open, it kept getting stuck and you had to pull up on the knob to get it, but that's neither here nor there ;)

Oh! T-Mobile hotspot was great.

Our baby is 10 months old. The room is 'basically' baby proofed. The carpet was very clean, and she had a great time crawling around and playing on the floor. The beds were also comfortable for her. She slept just fine, in fact better than she sleeps at home! One thing that could be a bit better: the trash cans are waaaay to small, at least for a family with a baby. We filled up the trash cans really fast, but the maids were great at clearing things out.

Do I think it was worth the $125 per night that we paid? Well...we waited too long to get reservations. it was the only room available in Erie that was resonably priced with all the we wanted: 2 beds, mini fridge, non smoking, we may have been able to get a better deal but it was a very good deal for a spur of the moment trip. I do wish it would have been $100, but that's just about wanting to save money :)

Stayed two nights Staff was nice and got a deal at front deak for the Casino but you have to ask for it. The room was basic and clean but TV recpetion was crap. Shopping was next exit (Peach Street) but easy access to highway. When looking for the hotel entrance be sharp as it right beside the freeway exit west bound and hard to see in the dark.
This hotel is cheap and clean but don't expect any extra's unless you ask for them.

This was really one of the only places in this area that allowed animals that is why we stayed here. The room was clean and comfortable but the location is sorta far from everything. so if you have pets i would recommend this place but if not i would probably say try and find something closer to the city.

Good experience, good rates (for 2, $79.99 tax included) for that area with clean rooms and comfortable bed. Free Wi-Fi Hot Spot, T-Moble 1 day prepaid Wi-Fi card, just stayed one night. don't know charge for more than one night. was given 1 prepaid card valued at $9.99 for 24hrs. service. Would recommend to friend. Casino close by in Erie (if you enjoy giving money away).

My daughter's and I stayed here for two nights, on a girls shopping weekend. It is the perfect location if you are not planning to spend lots of time at the hotel. The room was clean and recently renovated. The beds and pillows comfortable. We booked a non smoking room and could not smell smoke in our room even though you could smell smoke in the hallway. Our only problem was not enough towels in the room. With three women, two towels are not enough. We requested more towels, but they never did arrive. The girl on the front desk said she was very busy. Would stay again though. Excellent location for shopping

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Because of the cheap price, I was expecting a dingy motel room, but it was very bright and clean. The decor is modern and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to others.

My wife and I stayed here over a weekend in November. The hotel has a good location just off the highway. You are one exit (about 2 minutes drive) from the main shopping area and there are several restaurants to choose from. You are also about an hour from Grove City where the outlets are.
We stayed on the weekend and the rates were at about $100 a night. When you think of a red roof, you think budget. I'm sure if you stay during the week, it is cheaper. The rooms are decent, typical red roof. Nothing special but it serves its purpose.
Shopping in PA is hit and miss. Depends what you are looking for. Coming from Toronto, its nice to save the tax on clothing purchases but when you factor in the cost of gas and hotel, it won't be something we will do again. But again, it depends on your taste and what you are looking for.
