While looking for places to stay in Erie in August everything was very expensive. This place fit the amout of money we were looking to spend and was worth it. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were small but we were expecting that because we have stayed in a Microtel before. It is located right next to I90, which was what we were looking for but a pretty decent drive to get down to the lake. We would stay here again.

Stayed here two different nights. Rooms are very small, queen bed very small tv. the room was clean. Bed was comfortable. There's mirror across wall the entire headboard. Again small bathroom. The walls are very thin. We could clearly hear a normal conversation in the next room clear enough that we could have taken part in their conversation. So if you don't mind listening............

I often stay at the Microtel on Peach Street in Erie when I am driving cross country. It offers the usual good value Microtel properties offer. Clean, good beds, lots of TV channels. Close to a lot of restaurants (Quaker Steak and Lube is a fun place that's nearby). Very convenient, just off I-90.

This was a pleasant stay. I retreated from Pittsburg due to the U2 concert being held there and found this little gem for a two night stay. While the room was small, it was very clean, well apportioned and I truly enjoyed the window seat - for reading and just relaxing. More hotels should build these in! Makes the room that much larger! Desk personnel were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating.

We stayed here because we got a good deal pN Priceline. It is a nice place. The rooms are small but clean. The free breakfast includes eggs and make your own waffles. Close to many decent places to eat and a fireworks and martial arts outlet which was hilarious. I'd stay there again anytime.

What do you expect? It looks like a rest home and smells a little like a hospital. The rooms are tiny. The walls are thin. The light in the bathroom is fluorescent. But it is clean and easy, centrally located and relatively inexpensive. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. I was amazed at how comfortable the bed is, which for me is key. I slept like a baby all three nights. We didn't eat the free breakfast but it looked like they had waffles, eggs, bagels, fruit, cereal, etc. Don't expect luxury. Just take it for what it is.

The Microtel Inn is a newer Hotel so it was very modern and extremely clean. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. But we felt that it was a bit overpriced, especially with the rooms being so small. It provides the basic necessities for a hotel stay but nothing luxurious - for those looking for that type of accommodation I believe they should look elsewhere. No: mini fridge, in-room microwave or safe. The t.v. was small and atop a cupboard type closet and provided fuzzy channels. Their were a lot of breakfast options and was served until 10 a.m. The Inn was about a 15 minute drive from the beaches of Erie P.A. that we visited. It was nice for a one night's stay but it wouldn't be our first choice shall we choose to stay in that area again.
