“Good location but just average”
Reviewed August 30, 2010

The hotel is located close by a lot of restaurants and shopping. It is also right off of Interstate 90, which makes it very convenient. The drain in the bathroom sink was very slow and was outside of the bathroom itself. This can be both good and bad. The pool area was nice. The room had a small balcony but it was rather dirty. The biggest complaint really wasn't about the hotel itself. There was an extremely loud music event that went on until almost 10pm. It was so loud it sounded like we were on top of a night club. When you're only staying as a stop over and want to get sleep (along with 3 kids) loud music is not good.

I thought everyone offered breakfast these days...not here. Otherwise the room was comfortable and the location is great for I-90 travelers. The staff was pretty indifferent. Lots of dining options.

When Chick Fil A announced the arrival of their new Crispy Chicken Sandwich, we knew we needed to make more than just a day trip down to Erie for the reveal! We stayed the Sunday night during Memorial Day Weekend for one night.

This was our second time in a Courtyard and it did not disappoint! The hotel was clean and in a great location right off the 90 at Exit 24 (Peach Street).

Our room was on the 6th floor and we overlooked the neighboring Hilton Garden Inn and the Ambassador Banquet Facility. I think we were the only ones staying on the floor that night as it was very quiet.

Our room was huge...it was connecting to a conference room on one side and another guest room on the other. This middle room had a large kitchen (no stove) which was a plus since most Courtyards don't even have fridges standard in the room. We had more than enough room for our one night there.

The bathroom was great...except that the light switch was behind the open door. So you had to walk in, close the door, be in total darkness and find the lights. A little poor planning, so we just left the light on all night.

We booked a breakfast rate and were more than pleased with the offerings in the morning. We were waited on for our drinks and anything else we needed while the food wa buffet style. There was also someone to cook you waffles and omlets. The food was great...the service was friendly. We were VERY happy!!

This is a great hotel, as are other locations within the chain. We'd happily stay again.

And...if you're wondering how the Chick Fil A was...AMAZING!!! :)

I booked this hotel because it was my halfway point on a two day trip out east. It was very easy to find, right off of 1-90 at exit 24. This exit has at least 20 or so restaurants (Panera, Texas Roadhouse, Chick-Fil-a, Krispy Kreme to name a few) and also several big box stores as well (Walmart, Kohls, Home Depot to name a few). The hotel is very well maintained and I felt it was a safe area since I was a solo female traveler. I like this place so much I made a reservation to stay here on my way back home rather than a different place I had originally booked down the road. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Free Wi-fi, free parking, and walking distance to several places to eat.

This is a nice property; exactly what you would expect from a Courtyard.

Right off I-90 with a selection of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are very spacious and nicly appointed. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, with good internet access, good selection of TV stations, good hot water, and a balcony off the room, a nice touch.

Two small complaints though; not a big fan of the bathroom sink outside of the bathroom, and a flat screen TV would be nice; after all, this is a Marriott property.

All in all, an excellent $100 / night choice when passing through Erie

I stayed here with 2 girlfriends because the hotel had a shop til you drop package. The package was great and the front desk people were extremely helpful in getting our mall gift card which was originally missing from the coupon envelope. They also substituted the complimentary bottle of champagne with a bottle of white wine which we preferred. Unfortunately our room (#326) overlooked the dumpsters which the garbage trucks picked up at 6am and made so much noise they woke us all up. We also had to ask twice for a rollaway bed that was requested at the time of making the reservation. The tv was terrible - bad reception, extremely loud volume when first turning it on. But other than that, service was great, free breakfast buffet was delicious as was the free coffee in the lobby that appeared to be available 24 hours a day.

The Courrtyard was a very nice hotel. The rooms were very clean, great location. Splash Lagoon Water Park was just down the street which was one of the best water parks I've ever been to. The hotel's service was one of the best. The only problems with the hotel was the wallpaper in the room. It was a little faded and you could see where each strip was put up. But that's just a small detail. The other problem was that the gym equipment was quite rusty. I would though recommend this hotel.
