“Great Experience”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

Stopped in for a quick meal before a sporting event. The service was very good and the food was fantastic. I had the Crispy Roast Duck and my wife had the Kitchen Ramen. The portion sizes were ideal for us. We enjoyed our experience and plan to return. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

“Excellent Chicken - Small portions of everything else”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

We ate the other night. The water was nice, but not appropriate for the caliber of restaurant. Lots of sea food. We all had a taste of each others food. The steak was very small in portion. Everyone agreed that my chicken was the best. My food was plenty, but if we didn't order hors d'ouevers, everyone would have left hungry. The wine is good! I would eat here again.

“Top 3 of Erie”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

One of the top 3 restaurants in Erie. Menu is always changing seasonally, which keeps things interesting. The prices are great value for the quality. Great location to meet friends or for a romantic evening.

“Overpriced and pretentious.”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

Two couples for a birthday. The waitress was not knowledgeable at all about the menu, food prep, or wines. In fact she couldn't pronounce most of the wines and some of the food. The food was passable, but pretty plating and fancy names don't necessarily substitute for flavor. I dropped nearly 3 bills for 4 of us with a drink or two (very expensive) and a bottle of cheap wine (though they charged a lot for it). The wine list was mediocre at best, but priced like a select vintage from an exclusive chateau. They tout fine dining, but if you think this is fine dining, you've never really experienced it.

“Metropolitan atmosphere”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

Chic, metropolitan feel. The food is excellent. Not for a meat and potatoes kind of person. More gourmet, light eating. The portions are adequate, but someone used to diner or family style places could be shocked. We go a few times a year with other couples--perfect place for that. Their specialty drinks, beer and wine lists are very good. Service is friendly as well. Great downtown location to follow-up with a play, comedy club or live entertainment. For value, I dropped done one rating as you don't get any complimentary little crackers or bread upon being seated. Other upscale restaurants have provided this on our travels.
