This is simply a well run diner. I always like to sit in front of the grill cook when the grill is actually behind the counter. Though, I got there a little too early to catch a lot of action at the grill, the cook prepared everything promptly when an order was placed. Great employees who sincerely seem like they enjoy their jobs! If more towns had a diner like this, it would be a better world!

We are from Western New York and were visiting in Erie for the day. Our family prefers to stop at diners rather than eating at restaurant chains. This was our first visit to the Lawrence Park Dinor, and it won't be our last. It's a "keeper". We were greeted by the staff as we entered. There were three in our party and each of us was very pleased with our menu choices. The food arrived quickly, was delicious, nice and hot, and fairly priced. Our waitress was very attentive. The restaurant and the restrooms were VERY CLEAN! This diner had copies of "DINERS of PENNSYLVANIA" for purchase and we picked one up to help us select other diners for future trips. The owner came to our booth and was kind enough to share some of the history of the Lawrence Park Dinor after we told her of our fondness for old diners.

We will definitely keep this diner on our list, and two of our family members are planning to order the Smith's Greek Hot Dog on our next visit. For anyone coming off Route 90, it is easy to find and not too far.

If you live in Erie or are just passing through be sure to make this your must go place for breakfast or lunch. For breakfast be sure to try their Greek omelet or the Feta Cheese omelet. Best Greek sauce I have ever eaten. Then there is lunch with great soup and sandwich choices. I personally like the Stuffed Pepper or Lemon Chicken Rice soup. My favorite sandwich choice is the Grilled Mozzarella, Pesto and tomato sandwich which was prepared on Italian bread or try a Greek hot dog (they use Smith's hot dogs which are made in Erie). The staff makes you feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door and take very good care of you the whole time you are here. Their homemade pies are just a great way to top off your meal.
