Chose the one of the best reviewed (effectively 2nd) restaurant in Ephrata and it was not a bad move. The restaurant is in an unprepossessing modern block also housing the local cinema but it is all art deco after that and 95% of the restaurant is on the 2nd floor - there is a single enclosed table in the entry lobby. The food is fine dining/grill with some odd ball combinations - surf and turf with pork loin and scallops as well as with filet m. and crab cakes (really?) and a wild game sampler along with the customary standalone crab cakes - this is nearly MD - and steaks. So good for residents but probably not a destination. The Maître d' was entertaining and the food was well produced - a few minor issues, the bread is rubbish and the intimate atmosphere created by closed curtains was rudely dissipated when the sun had set and we were treated to the backdrop of backstreet Ephrata (my Missus asked for the curtain to be re-drawn).
