My husbands family has camped here for over 30 years. I have been visiting the park and staying at the campground for about 20 now. We have always found the sites and the facilities to be clean, with plenty of staff visible to help out and answer questions. The sites are close together, but with most people at the park or Crystal Pool much of the time you do not feel cramped.

Many sites have platforms that are great for setting up a tent and keeping it off the ground in case of rain. Plenty of trees overhead on most sites to string a tarp to help keep dry. Always a bathhouse close by to your site, and I have never had to wait for a shower.

We have camped here with the entire family, 11 adults and 4 children. The sites are set up so you can create your own "village" when you camp with a group, sites next to each other and behind one another.

My 14 year old son and I just got back today from an impromptu visit and 2 nights of camping. Security was out at 11pm which is the start of quiet time reminding people to please keep the sound down. We felt safe and were not bothered by any noise.

Food stands at the park open at 9 am so you can have a hot breakfast without having to cook at your site. Food is great!

We will be back again next year and many more years to come.

Room Tip: Sites are closer to each other than they look on the map. Request a shaded spot if you can, the ope...

Not a frequent camper, but this place was clean, had private bathrooms, showers, and public ones too, washer and dryers. The one thing that I loved was there were alot of bathrooms facilities. Each area had an facility. So there were no long lines, waiting, and everything was so clean. Each morning it was wiped down. The Fun Bus comes threw and picks you up to take you around. Close to the park to even drive. We drove each day, drove out the fence, down the small lane, and took a right into the parking lot, no waiting and right to the front. If you want a good first time camping experience, check it out.

Room Tip: a good location would be on the ends of the area..

My family of four has been coming to Knoebels Campground for 12 years, missing only one summer. We love this campground! We camp here so we can walk (or take the Knoebels bus) to Knoebels Amusement Park and to the Crystal Pool. It is not the place to camp if you aren't interested in the amusement park. The campground is often noisy at night as everyone returns from the park, but that is to be expected. Here are some things that may be useful to know:

*You can get a site with electric, but sewer and water sites are not available. We fill up the holding tank in our RV and shower in the bathhouses.

*If you like a larger site and a little more quiet (both for us), get a site in the Canadian Provinces. You walk a little further to get to the park, but it is worth it! Plus, you can catch the "bus" throughout the day, which takes you very near the park. (Free)

*There is a small pool in the campground. We've NEVER used it in 12 years, because the lure of the amusement park and the huge Crystal pool is too much for us! The campground pool is free, however, and you pay a small fee for the Crystal Pool.

*We LOVE the campground store, which has all you'd need if you forgot anything, plus souvenirs. And it's open after the amusement park closes!

*Bathhouses are cleaned frequently and have a few shower stalls. You can also find unisex toilet stalls and shower stalls to use around the bathhouse. Nice for privacy, and I've never had to wait to get a shower.

*Washers, dryers, and sinks are located at the bathhouses.

*Cabins are available for those who desire. I've never been inside one, so I can't say much about them. But they look rustic, and all have fire rings just like the campsites.

*Tent sites have platforms to keep your tent level.

*Security and maintenance are seen driving around often - a plus for us.

I love this campground, and hope our now teenage kids never want to stop coming!

Room Tip: Sites in the Canadian Province are larger and quieter, but a longer walk to the park.

We rented a single cabin that sleep 6 people. I was ssurprised that the cabin is really clean but a little disappointed because it was so rustic n it got a little hole in between of log that they use. We didn't spend a lot of time inside of the cabin. We basically just used it for sleep but we enjoyed our time outside with a lot of stars that we practically never seen it at the city, cool breezes n the firewood! We also lit the fireworks n firecracker there on July 4! We stayed up till 2.30 in the morning, grilling, singing, talking......the only complain that we have was no signal at all!!! I can't even call my 2 teenagers that got lost on Friday night close to 11 pm n when the gate will be close by 11 n they will be locked out!!! N with the security that keep passing by, we actually felt like we have been watched! LOL....the other one was, they needs more restroom cause when we were doing our business, people kept knocking our door, so it kind of annoying!!! But hey....we have to share, but still!! LOL.....well, I would love to come back, but my husband n my sons wanted to stay at the vacation house next time we visit which is next month with the reason, they don't want to sleep with bugs went inside the cabin .....LOL...but we enjoyed that time though...

This was our 2nd time camping at Knoebel's and love it. The sites are plenty big enough for large trailers but only electric service is available. They have fresh water to full your tanks and a dump station when you leave. We always use the bathhouses which are kept clean constantly.
As for the park, always fun with great food and rides (awesome value on both). So much better than Dorney and Great Adventure!
We will be regulars for years to come as it never gets boring.

Been going to this campground 50+ years. Starting with my parents in a tent and now with my lovely wife in a small motorhome. Has become a tradition two trips a year and we meet our son and his wife there. They have all different size sites from tent only to class A with 50 amp service. Sites are mostly pea gravel with picnic tables and fire rings that can be moved around the site as needed. As soon as someone leaves the campground staff cleans up the site, including the ashes from your fire. Sites all have at least 30 amp boxes. Water is available as you enter the check-in area and several locations throughout the campground. Two dump stations with room for five vehicles at once. Bathhouses are cleaned every day. No cable or over-the-air tv reception but the whole idea is to have you in the amusement park, not in your camper. The amusement park is right next door, and you can actually hear the screams from the Twister roller coaster. We take little food on these trips because the park has some of the best amusement park food in the country. You'll be suprised. Firewood is available and everybody seem to have a campfire. Bugs are almost non-existent. We've found 99.9% of the people we've met there to be friendly and easy going, as most are annual campers with familys. Office staff has always been outstanding.

Room Tip: Sites are easier to get during the week and lines are shorter in the amusement park.
