Frank Lloyd Wright -- love him or hate him, he was ahead of his time in designing buildings and furnishings. The symbolism in this building is everywhere, and the color pallate and angles add add interest and meaning.

Whether the idea of visiting a synagogue is of interest or not, the design makes this a must see experience.

If you are in the Philadelphia area or are a Frank Lloyd Wright afficiando, you must do you best to find and tour the FLW synagogue in Suburban Elkins Park, PA. Our guide was excellent and you start off your tour with a short film. You will visit the sanctuary and get a true picture of the relationship between Mr. Wright and Rabbi Cohen and the trials and tribulations of the problems of fund-raising and the construction problems that plagued the building of the synagogue. A must see.
