“great location for our ladies week-end”
Reviewed November 5, 2007

We are 4 college room-mates that pick a location for a reunion each year and decided on Hershey this year. We needed a place central, clean, with a refrig for our wine and adjoining rooms. The staff was very accomodating and we had first floor rooms. The fruit at the complimentary breakfast bar was gone and not refilled when we got to breakfast. The rooms were a bit small. Other than that, the place totally satisfied our needs. The pillows were GREAT, the mattresses extremely comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice - I have never stayed in an "Express" so I did not know what to expect. The room was nice, clean and comfortable for our family of 4. Pillows were comfy and we all slept well. We enjoyed the breakfast that came with the room. IThe location was about 15 minutes from Hershey and 20 minutes from Lancaster. It was a good little hotel for the $ and located right between the attractions we were there for.

After looking thru many reviews I decided on this hotel. I booked 2 rooms since I was traveling with my parents. It was easy to find , right off the highway and the lobby and entrance were very pleasant. The room was a standard size and was clean and did not look overused. The Queen beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows which they give you plenty of. The breakfast included was very good and ran till 1030 am on the weekend which was good for those who want to sleep in. There was hot food (waffles and eggs) as well as fresh muffins and it was all replenished. We had connecting rooms which was convenient and overall I was pleased with this choice. We came to go to Hershey and it was about 15-20 minutes away. It was exactly what I was looking for .. clean, quiet and close to the main attractions. I would definitely recommend it.

they also offered a corporate discount although it was a personal trip.

  • Liked — clean and well kept
  • Disliked — no pool but they do have privileges at a local pool which Ididnt get to try

We stayed here on a Friday night, after seeing a concert at Hersheypark (the Police). We were pleasantly greeted and noticed the lobby was nicely decorated. Our room was also very nice, average size, very clean. The bathroom was average size (with the sink outside of the bathroom). They have all kinds of nice travel size amenties like mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, etc. We slept well on comfy beds (except for the people who apparently walk the halls at 3 a.m. talking as if they are at home. Do they think they have the whole floor to themselves? We had to turn on the fan to block out the noise.) Anyway, the breakfast was great! They have everything from eggs to fruit, pastries, yogurt, juice and good coffee. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay again, now that the Holiday Inns are starting to be nicely updated.

We had tickets to see the Police at Hershey Park Stadium and needed a place to stay. I had reward points coming and this was one of a variety of hotels in the area where I could use them toward a reservation. I went to trip advisor and this one had the best over all reviews. I am glad I did.

The location is convenient to Hershey Park and all of the area attractions without the higher price tag for closer accomodations. It is not fancy if you are looking for luxury, but it is very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, and the continental breakfast is well stocked and plentiful, featuring juices, milk, cereal, fresh fruit, bagels, muffins, etc. A very convenient way to start the day.

We had originally booked a King room as it was meant to be a trip for two, but very last minute, our thirteen year old daughter ended up along for the ride. When we arrived at the hotel and explained our situation we were offered a roll-away for her as there were no other rooms available. No sooner did we enter our King room, when the phone rang and the front desk informed us of a cancellation on a two Queen room and moved us immediately, no muss, no fuss. Very accomodating, indeed.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. It is a great value for the money and we are headed back for another concert and long weekend in September. It is nice to know we have a welcoming place to stay.

Stayed here for one night with four friends. The room was adequately spacious--we stayed in a triple queen room which had two comfortable queen size beds and a sofa pull-out bed.
The hotel is located about 22 minutes from Hershey Park attractions--and while it's not a bad drive, do add in time for some traffic congestion as you reach Hershey. This hotel is ideally located if you're going to Bube's Brewery in Mount Joy, PA for evening activities (only 4 miles away). The free breakfast was really good and quite filling. All in all it was a good stay!

I go to college at Elizabethtown and stayed at this hotel for the first time the day before my freshman year of college started. I am now going into my second semester of Junior year and have stayed at this hotel about 5 times for one reason or another. It is excellent, the free breakfast is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable... I have no complaints.
